Monipuri Market is another attraction of Sreemangal tour. Every tourist must visit the Ramnagar Monipuri Para and see the Monipuri Market where you will get the taste of the weaving process, how the traditional Manipuri people create unique designed handicrafts and sharee. Manipuri people are famous for their special fabrics like leirum, lasingphee, moiraingphee, and the phanek. Tribal cloths are woven on a loin-loom, a type of back strap loom used by the tribal Manipuri people. Sometimes the belt is woven out of cane or bamboo. These cloths are brought into the shops in Monipuri Markets (usually adjacent to their houses). Ramnagar Monipuri market is one of them.
