I totally agree with your statement. I just bought this die set with such high hopes. No instructions included and this video looks like someone just throwing it together as fast as they can! I'm at a loss of words to see something like this from a company like Sizzix. It doesn't take much of an imagination to realize the inside of this card is going to be a hot mess to try and hide! I'm going to put a snowy background in and hopefully I can make the inside presentable without too much bulk. I'm very disappointed with no actual instructions!
@@11AriseAndShine11 .......My Christmas cards turned out really well. Keep on trying. My friends were impressed. I think I counted all the pieces and each card had 60 die cut pieces. It was crazy, but worth it in the end. And I had fun putting them all together once I got all the pieces cut.
@@9liveslisa I sure hope it turns out well! My goodness, all these pieces, huh? My mom's in a nursing facility and she loves pop up cards better than any flowers because they at least last! So I thought, 'I'll make her a 3D Christmas in July card!', to give her in a few a months. Now I'm starting to think it'll take me to till July get it done! LOL! Good thing I got a head start!!! 🤪 But anyways, thank you for the encouragement! I was just about to throw my hands up and toss it all! ROFL!
@@11AriseAndShine11 .....Do all the die cutting first. It made it much easier for me. Then you can do the assembly in peace. I made a total of 10 cards!
@@9liveslisa OMGoodness! I cant even imagine doing this 10 times! I know that once I get done with this first card, it will come easier from the learning experience... but I cannot imagine doing this in multiples! I sure as heck hope that the people that received them from you appreciated all the work you put into them! I did cut out and assembled most of the pieces, but keep finding I missed enough trees, or holly berries. I've been working on this dang (one) card for two days! Of course, a lot the time has been using alcohol markers to lightly tint the no shed white snow looking cardstock I decided to use. (I've made a note to just go with color paper the next time! If there is a next time!) LOL! But I have to admit, they are beautiful designs, both the bare trees & Christmas tree... and of course the animals! So definitely not a loss of money for the dies.
OMG How Super Sweet and Adorable is your card!! It was so much fun watching you create it!! Loving all the detail that was put into this card...it's Magnificent!! Thanks for you Awesome Tutorial and sharing all your Tremendously Terrific Tips & Tricks!! YOU SO ROCK!! Joan Smith
Hi! i was wondering, is the aperture archway part o the die set? I don't see it as a separate piece with the dies, and noticed it right off when you cut the opening for the scene. Thanks for any help! I am wanting to purchase this set but want to make sure I get the larger archway too, and what it's called.
The Sizzix site says dimensions are 3 1/4" x 4 1/2". Looks like to me the card dimensions should be 4 1/2" W x 5 1/2" H. I just made my first card. I still love the card, but it is a challenge.
Love the card! Extremely dislike the lack of instructions. But I will persevere with this project.

It would help to have the size of the card base and the inside base. I had a rough time with dimensions and wasted paper.
Thanks so much for this video. Ordered this die set yesterday along with the bundle from Hochanda. Can’t wait to receive it.

Hi Kim! Yes it's part of the set :)
sizzix thank you! Off to check the site😊
Wow. Gorgeous card.
What does the inside of the card look like? Just wondered as noticed the white card was roughly cut to fit the arch shape. Thanks.
Hello! It's just plain inside :)
Lovely. Can you please tell me what the glue dispenser you are using is and if it's available from Sizzix? Thank you 😊
Hello! Sorry it's not one of ours. A fine tipped glue dispenser should be available from most good craft stores :)
dorothykincaid Darice makes them. Check Amazon.
@@shereeg404 Thanks, I'll do that 😊
Does anyone know how big to cut the card stock for this card
Hi Gloria! The dimensions are on the product link :) www.sizzix.com/663611/sizzix-thinlits-die-set-20pk-christmas-shadow-box
