    I think you could do the same thing in OBS and record it live. It would of course require some kind of intermediate hand shaking software so OBS can see your phone. Haven’t tested this myself, but thought I’d mention it in case it saves you a step.

    • @tombuck
      @tombuck  ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m sure that you could in OBS and Ecamm, which would be really fun to try. I think the biggest hurdle would be figuring out the perspective effect 🤔

    I use Davinci Resolve for my (very basic) editing needs and I'm sure I could figure out how to do this with that program too. I've been toying with the idea of putting music videos over the shoulder if/when we reference them. I bet giving them a depth perception and a border would make them stand out too. Thanks for the tips, as always Tom!

    • @tombuck
      @tombuck  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m absolutely sure Resolve can do this. The only thing that might be tricky is adding a border, but I feel like Resolve must have that option too?

    • @samuelmoolman1674

      @@InfectiousGroovePodcast It does have abordser but it isn't very streamlined to do it. You have to add it to a separate time line, then go FX effects and add a border right at the begninning, and then merge them to create a FX clip(might a be under another name). Don't try and add one after editing it.

      Sometimes cables can randomly go bad, so I always start by swapping those out just to be sure.
