Life, even as a Christian, isn't a "happily ever after" kind of story... It's a rollercoaster. But God is faithful, even when we are faithless. Thanks for sharing this part of your story. 🙏🕊️
Your testimony is a lot like mine. God seperated me from people. God is calling me out of sin. God is putting it on my heart to get in His word and seek Him. And also depression doesnt cone from the Lord. No one can have perfect peace and depression at the same time. Amen! ❤
AMEN!!!! Your honesty and vulnerability are part of the saving grace of Jesus Christ!! Such a beautiful thing to see!! Much love and God bless!! 🙏😊❤ God IS love!!!❤ That moment when the bells were ringing... God's perfect timing!!❤
@ 🙏😊❤️ I would appreciate prayers, yes. Prayers for reconciliation with my sons. I trust the Lord’s plan, that he knows what He is doing always. Everything happens for a reason, but in this case, I would be ever grateful for your prayers. Thank you and God bless!!🙏❤️ Are there prayers I can make for you as well my friend?
@missmagillicutty6721 absolutely I felt led to ask and God knows your situation and that this is on your heart . God bless you too if you'd like I can do it by myself or call you personally if you would be comfortable with that none the less ill pray for that 🙏
I will say I don't believe in OSAS--I believe people can walk away from God through unrepentant continual willful sin (some people say such people have never been truly born again, which is another way to look at it). I also believe we do need to endure until the end (Mt. 24:13) and pursue holiness (without which no one will see the Lord, Heb. 12:14). That said, the Lord definitely helps us to do this as long as we keep seeking Him! God bless you, brother--I'm so glad you shared your testimony! 💛💛💛
@daughterofgod3721 ill make a video on my stance on osas I used to actually believe we could lose our salvation but I became so afraid that I studied this topic for hundreds of hours to find the answer so I could know for sure because I was so afraid and I came to some conclusions based on the scriptures but I'll make a video soon it would be a God topic to talk about
@@jesusislord5275 There are other scriptures I could cite, and the passage of 1 John 3:9-10 is one of the starkest on continual willful sin. I'll put it below. If someone practices continual willful sin, having said a salvation prayer and believing Jesus is God will not save them (this is why it says in James that even the demons believe---and obviously their belief isn't going to save them). But in your case, I think the clearest way to understand that OSAS is false is by the revelations God gave you Himself! When you were in ongoing unrepentant sin, He gave you those revelations of hell/separation as a warning to turn from sin back to Him---which you did, praise God! But obviously you (and all other believers) need to continue on that narrow path to be saved and endure until the end as the word says (so as to avoid Hebrews 10:26-30!). He gave you those warnings in order to cause you to fear because the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and helps us turn from sin (we should fear that God can send us to hell as it says in Mt. 10:28). _No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God's seed abides in him; and he cannot keep on sinning, because he has been born of God. By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother._ (1John 3:9-10)
@daughterofgod3721 I believe that verse is actually a stance on eternal security because it makes the distinction to being born again opposed to not being born again and the characteristics that would follow . I believe once someone is born again they are now a slave of righteousness and that is the new default . I realized when I ran from God I still had His spirit in me but it was quenched (unable to be expressed) due to my disobedience but I do believe I was still saved and I had to suffer chastisement as a consequence
You're half right. You are saved through faith and lost by giving up faith. Sin has been dealt with at the cross, nobody is lost because of sin. The most common way to lose your salvation is to join a church and return to dead works from the living faith.
No one knows why God chose any of us it just is. I am going through some rough times. i am let just say older than you , i need work. You have a great witness and humbleness it is what i needed today. thanks
i belive that too brother we are secured by belive in Jesus once ! Once Saved Alway Saved. Romans 8:38-39 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. this one and this: EF 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were SEALED with that Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the REDEMPTION of those who are God’s possession-to the praise of his glory. This is proof :) What do u think brother ?
What you described as a trip to hell, and separation from God at about 13 minute mark, is the salvation baptism which Paul described in Romans 6:3,4 KJV - "Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life." That's what being born again is. The Holy Spirit plants you into Christ, and you go through his death, burial and resurrection.
@TheFightingSheep I agree that can happen to some believers I think God does it for certain nonbelievers not all for specific purposes as for Paul's case, He was at an extreme killing Christians the gospel itself wasn't getting to Him as the intense encounter He had would
@jesusislord5275 Everyone experiences death differently, but everyone who's born again had to die. Death and rebirth both make up the baptism - the plunge down and rise up. Read all of Romans 6 with that in mind, church Christians and their unregenerate pastors don't talk about this most critical step in salvation.
