I think one of the main complaints I’ve heard about this bag and why so many are on resale websites is the shoulder strap; that the two gold clasps are sharp/painful on the shoulder. What’s your experience been with that? It’s what makes me want to get the Triomphe instead.
To me it’s bearable. It’s only on the bare skin that you’ll feel it, and only if the bag is heavy. The triomph is more versatile because of the way the strap is made but this one is more classic imo
Congrats! I got the exact same one but I’m so afraid to use it ! The sell associate told me to be very conscious with rain as it may ruin the leather… Where I live it rains a lot 😢 I don’t know.. Do you use yours often ? 🙂
Congratulations to you too! I wear mine quite a lot, every weekend at least once if the weather permits. I always check the weather before getting dressed anyway.

Yesterday I purchased my triomphe and wanted to know the comparison between it and this box bag then I came across your content. Because I didn’t see this bag in the store yesterday tho 🫨

I am feeling pretty euphoric right now as l went into London intent on purchasing one from Celine, on my way popped into a Knightsbridge boutique that sells preloved bags in pristine condition and managed to pick up a classic teen in a gorgeous neutral khaki colourway, for approx £1100 less than retail. With my saving l treated myself to a black triomphe wallet on chain from the Celine store 😊.

It’s beautiful! Have you found that the leather (esp at the top of the bag) has creased much? I’ve heard that this has been an issue for some people.
Thank you! Mine hasn’t yet, but I’ve heard that too. I personally don’t find that to be an issue. I love when my bags get a little bit worn in.
