I built this truck for my dad and he sold it i got all the pics from start to finish it was bought new in 67 in johnson city tn as an ice cream truck thats why the holes are in the bed side so the cooler could vent dad sold it a few years back at the rod run. Nice to see it again p.s. its a t5 out of an s10 they wont gear down from 3rd to second until you are going slow enough.

This truck brings me back to my childhood memories. My father had a '68 C10 step side. It was red just like this '67, but the one my father had, the roof and the front grill were white. And his truck had the spare tire mounted on the driver's side of the bed, on the outside behind the cab. I miss it.

No cross member on the transmission tail shaft? Looks a little sketchy. Reminds me of the orange 68 long bed pickup my dad had when I learned to drive.

Solid little ride there Nick. Would make a nice little cruiser. The suspension is a 1 or 2 outta 10. Gotta ping ya on that one. Does have active rustproofing though. Love a GM vehicle!

Had one just like this, my first yank. 5.7, no power brakes/steering, but it had a four speed Muncie with a jag back axle. Broke all my fingers in one hand parking it against the kerb!!! 🤬. SMH. Now run a 2000 Lightning, easy. ✌️👋🇬🇧

Cool truck , the 56 gasser needs to sound like this truck , damn that idle sounds good ! When you get behind the wheel in this truck , expect to get pulled over , cause there is no way you cannot get all up in that thing at least twice any time you drive it , lol

I myself am not into the "patina" look as to me it just looks like someone ran out of money and couldn't finish a project, but hey it's just paint and 14,900 is a good price and if I had that much to spend you would get my money!!!

@@greenhometony 14,900$ car is in original unmolested condition original interior,motor & transmission the car was purchased in California in 1970 put in storage on blocks in 1980 was sold to his brother in 2007 parked in his garage he got sick sold to local car dealership in 2017 I purchased in October of 2019 car has 163,000 original mills have done a lot of work to make road worthy and dependable would drive anywhere it does have some rust around the rear wheels and rear lower back panels and some other wear issues for a 56 year old car everything else is solid frame,floor pans,trunk car has been parked since the end of November due to salt , sand ,and calcium on these Indiana roads
