Interesting! Thanks!
beautiful play and great video.
Thank you very much!
I think playing with the same reed on each mouthpiece may be selling yourself short. Each mouthpiece may require a different reed to get the exact sound you want. Based on the video, I really liked the sound of the Link. I am a sax player and never liked playing Links on sax. But, maybe the Link will be the best for the clarinet to get a jazz sound.
Gracias Usted cual prefiere 😊
I like the link 😊
You sound great on all of them. I like the Link and 5JB best . What do you prefer?
I say Link yes but 5JB no.
What's that transparent clarinet in the back? Looks so cooL!
Did you say the Meyer or the Ottolink where more resistant?
Which one do you prefer for Dixieland jazz
I listened to video of Jody Levine demonstrating his Jody Jazz HR Dark clarinet mouthpieces and the sound he produced couldn't compare with The Meyer 6 MM but i bought his very expensive same model name soprano sax mouthpiece 5 *. and it played brilliantly using a 2 and half Vandoren Java or V 16 reed, playing with trumpet section in big band and can match the trumpet dynamics ! Worth the higher outlay !
Hi,I am a new jazz learner。And I am in China,is very difficult to buy mouthpiece。Could you please tell me as a starter, which one should be petter ?(5jb classical/profile)Thank you
Hi - The 5JB might be a little hard work for a beginner. We'd suggest a Meyer 5mm or Link 5*. We can ship to China so might be able to help you remotely. You can shop on our site here: www.dawkes.co.uk/clarinets/accessories/mouthpieces/bb
@@dawkesmusic Thank you for answering me.
@@dawkesmusic im a beginner and almost bought this mouthpiece. I´ll try 5rv lyre, thanks!!!!
Link sounded best for me 😎😎
Any thoughts on the RS Berkeley Benny Goodman mouthpiece?
Hi - We've only seen one briefly. There is no stock available for the UK so not had chance to form a proper opinion on it yet. We've heard mixed reviews from US based players/friends.
Link is better imho, but opening vary, so it’s hard to compare.
Which reed used?
He wrote in The description :
Marca Excel #3
1:34 meyer
2:19 5jb
Definitely the Meyer
😎Meyer-🏆
so true
👍🏽
Claude Lake jazz ??? 😅
