Note: Some of the channel viewers suggested to check if the bracelet from the EFR-S108D can be replaced by the one from the EFB-108D. While that's a great idea, unfortunately, the EFB end link is wider than the EFR's meaning that the bracelets on these 2 watches are not interchangeable. Thank you for your suggestions!
Many thanks for this confirmation. This is exactly what I wanted to try with my EFR108D because I don't like the bracelet. Sad it's not possible. I really wish Casio releases a new version of the EFR108 with a better bracelet...
Thanks for the side by side review got a EFB 108D. I had this in my cart for over a year and it is such an easy decision when you have them both on screen the whole time and at various angles. After you pointed out the bracelet differences the choice becomes obvious.
Got the EFR-S108 in Tiffany Blue and I’m absolutely rocking it as my daily summer watch. Getting the EFB-108D next for the weekends and to enjoy this fall. I’m a big fan of Casio and Citizen, and these Edifice watches are too good, and reflect where I’m at in life, financially/professionally. Such a good line, hope to get a Casio Oceanus S100 as soon as I get my CDL. They’re both the best, get em both, and a Casio Duro for that field/dive watch everyday piece too. 👌🏼
the EFB really is superior in my experience in all cases, my only wish would be to have less text on the dial. Choose one Casio, you want a logo, Edifice or Casio branding, but not all 3 please. The "sapphire" text is fortunately so small it isn't obtrusive in real life. And the second hand, I'd love it to be more subtle. On silver dial it's better with the blue, but the red on black dial is kinda bugging me. (I have both versions). And the crown - it really is worse than on any below 50 EUR/USD watch, it's a crown lottery. Will you change the date or the time? You don't know. I had the PRX, I had Citizen Tsuyosa, for half a year I had Tudor Royal, which the black version is kinda reminding me of, but for this price point, an integrated bracelet, sapphire crystal, solid links, ... just throw better AR coating on it, better crown, and I will gladly pay double for it, it'll still be a bargain. For anyone watching these videos trying to choose which version, black or silver, take the silver. It looks better. Integrated bracelet watches don't do that well with sharp contrasts. I had multiple PRX models, and the quartz white, with brushed dial, was definitely the best if you look for subtle watch, that can serve as a dress watch as well. This casio in silver dial is also pretty good as a dress watch, while the black version pokes out of the shirt too much, and it would need a lot more polished surface on the case and bracelet to be dressy-ier.
Do you mean the EFB 108D? That’s readily available on Amazon, links are in the description. The EFR-S108D on the other hand is only available with the black dial variant. For the new colors, ebay is your best bet.
Today I went into the store to check out the Tiffany blue EFR. While I’ve been watching all sorts of videos and positive comments, I wasn’t impressed. It’s a good watch, but something was missing. It didn’t feel premium in the hand.
@@simplewatchtalks Plot twist: I went today again and somehow managed to purchase the EFR Tiffany blue one. Despite the bracelet, I found the positives - it is light weight, has sapphire glass, and the Tiffany blue colour does give a different look to it. I think it’s value for money. 😀😅 I’m happy with the purchase.
It also holds value, I sold mine for the same price I bought it for (not that it’s a bad watch, but because the hobby and making videos is expensive). I hope you enjoy it!
Thank you! I don’t think there should be an issue for 7 inch wrists, but in doubt, I would try it first if possible. I have a 6 and a quarter inch wrist and I am happy with how it wears for me.
EFR-S108D hands and indices are lumed, but its performance is very average. EFB108D only the hands are lumed, and performance is about the same. I didn’t look that much into strap replacements, but it’s quite challenging to find replacements that fit.
I had them in my cart for months, but I couldn't decide whether or not I should get them. I live in Thailand, and the cheapest way for me to purchase them is from Amazon, because we don’t have that specific model in any shop here so I didn't have them to try before buying.
For a 6 inch wrist, it might wear large. It depends on your taste as well, if you don’t care how it wears/looks, I don’t see any issue. The ideal would be to try it somewhere, or buy and return if it doesn’t suit you. I hope this helps.

If they made an edifice with the bracelet of the EFB with the case design of the EFR it would be a MASTERPIECE
This seems so obvious yet Casio won’t do it, it would be a homerun!
Absolutely agree ❤
I've read so many of these comments, and for some reason it seems that Casio hasn't read a sigle one of that. That would be a killer value watch

The best review I found for these watches on youtube. Thanks!
You are welcome my good sir!
I agree !!!!! Thanks !
I own an efb 108d and it's absolutely gorgeous
Enjoy it my friend!
Did the dial look big to you or just right?
I choose EFB just because of the bracelet design, its masterpiece ❤
And love this video❤
Thank you!
Worth comparison bcoz it cleared the confusion. I'll go with EFB with black dial as it's big & better. Thanks ❤ 📹
I am glad it helped!
I own the EFB, love it, but if it was a bit smaller (40mm or less) it would be my favorite watch.
As a fellow small wrist dude I agree!
The blue one is far more good looking than the white one imo❤because of the shape towards casioak and AP
If only it had a bracelet as good as the EFB, it would’ve been perfect.
Exactly❤
Could we swap it with the EFB bracelet? @@simplewatchtalks

great video. so glad you made this as i comparing these two in my head trying to decide
Glad I could help!
The EFD 108D seems to be very popular since it is not obtainable anywhere in the US. 😞

The EFR-S108D on the other hand is only available with the black dial variant. For the new colors, ebay is your best bet.
One tiny remark, EFB-108D has a snap on back, not screw back. EFR-S108D has a screw on. Great video btw,
Thank you. I am pretty sure the EFB has a screw down case back.
Casio Edifice EFB-108D has a screw on back, get it right:)
Thanks for the video, is it possible to check if the bracelets are interchangeable?
Unfortunately they’re not, the lug width on the EFB is slightly wider, so it wouldn’t fit.
Today I went into the store to check out the Tiffany blue EFR. While I’ve been watching all sorts of videos and positive comments, I wasn’t impressed.
It’s a good watch, but something was missing. It didn’t feel premium in the hand.
I can relate, it was mostly the bracelet for me.

i want to swap the bracelet for efr but cant find one can someone please help or give me the measurements for the bracelet
I measured it to check if it’s interchangeable, but I didn’t write down the numbers. Now that I sold the EFR, I really wish I did!
Contemplating whether to get the EFB, my hesitation comes from the size.
With my 7 inch wrist, do you think it would fit well?
Great video btw!!!

Very informative video. I agree with your final take on value for money 👍
Thank you for the valuable feedback!

What about each lume capabilities?
Can these models strap replacement easy to m come by?

would the efb fits my 6 inch wrist 😭

I live in California, United States. Why cannot not by the EFR watch with the white dial in particular, on Casio website?
No idea, your best bet is Amazon or Ebay
Thanks for genuinely helpful review
I am glad it helped!
Can sized the bracelet?
Awesome comparison🙂
Thank you!
Can we put the EFB bracelet on the EFR? Will it fit?
Unfortunately it doesn't fit, the dimensions of the bracelet of the EFB are slightly larger.
@@simplewatchtalks what a strange decision from Casio... They could've kept that EFB bracelet design for the EFR and sell twice as more.
Efr is great looking but bracelet is bad
Efb is good looking but bracelet is also good
Hard to choose man
It can be a hard choice indeed.
Can you put bracelet from EFB to EFR?
Unfortunately that’s not possible.
Thank you, great rewiev
I am glad you enjoyed it!
Is there an alternative bracelet for the EFR?
Not that I know of, unfortunately.
Is it possible to get the EFR bracelet swapped with the EFB bracelet?
Unfortunately that’s not possible.
@@simplewatchtalks are you sure? Seems like they are exactly the same size
Is it possible to swap the bracelets?
Unfortunately that’s not possible.
Can we remove links of edifice efr s108d for better fitment
Yes you can.
Can they swapped strap, is it the same size?
Unfortunately it’s not possible
Can we switch the belt? Is it compatible?
Unfortunately it’s not.
EFB👍
👌
The second hands are missing the indices by a mile
That's too bad.
integrated bracelet means it cant be replaced by a nato strap or something else. Its a no-go
Fair enough.
Blue wtch mm size???
40mm
37 mm available watch I need
Checkout my video of the Specht & Sohne, it's a similar integrated bracelet that's great quality, good price, and 37mm.
EFR used to cost 80-90 euros…
Exactly, but they raised the prices after releasing the new dial color variants.
The date window in ef r are for scientist who use microscope in a lab, I mean it is literally to small 😅😂
That’s a funny way of putting it, and it’s so true!
EFB-108D is more stylish.....
💯
Is it possible to get the EFR bracelet swapped with the EFB bracelet?
Unfortunately that’s not possible.
