They were cut off from buying any aircraft and even their parts…necessity is the mother of invention…russia was cut off…they too are making their own…china is the only one that made to compete with boeing and airbus
seem you pashtun afghans are only spectators in the world , where is your scientist and engineers that can help build and manufacture , iranians have self respect and self belief and nationhood , that is what make them great.
Everyone starts somewhere when it comes to home-grown aviation. Whether you start off by cloning DC-3s, B-17s, BF-109s, MiG-15/19/21s, or An-140s, it's an important stepping stone and serves as a solid learning experience 👏🏻
@@bertnl530 back ramp is added, wings shape ultimately changed the hidrolic completely changed, engines are home made with more numbers of power , back tales completely changed, new avionics and radar added too , do you know anything about aeroplanes?!🤦🏻
@@ArianAskari-h8u This is the same An-140, only in the transport modification An-140T, the sets of which were supplied to Iran from Ukraine, the Kharkov Aircraft Plant and were in Iran for 10-15 years. All that Iran can really do is crash two An-140s - one in 2009 due to pilot error, the second in 2014 due to overloading the aircraft.
Why Hal cannot consider kawari engines for Marut 2.0 aircraft because now kawari engines are generating 50 kn thrust and if existing after burnar is included it will be 73 kn thrust which will increase if new after burnar which is under development by Brahmos Desian beuro. Also it can serve as a fighter trainer for the Indian airforce. Please give us some information about this. Also is this possible or not if everything is going fine.
Made by HESA it's almost full Irannian engine making in jet or otherwise is a lot better now but problem is they can't work with all other parts and companies so they cooperate I know at least dozens of helicopter manufacturing companies that each are powerful in one aspect or several but they can't cooperate in a level to make it commercially available
They took the Ukrainian Antonov An-140, which Iran assembled under official license, added a tail and engines from the Russian Ilyushin Il-112. Yes, in this version, this design is much better than the original Ilyushin Il-112, which crashed during testing due to an engine fire, after which its wing fell off, unable to withstand the fire. With the original Ukrainian wings, the plane will be more reliable in the event of an engine fire.
Designed by iranian experts????😂😂😂 this is an Ukrainian AN-74 upgrad...which by the way iran is trying to built for the last 25 years...just like they are still trying to build copies of F-5
Propaganda. This is essentially Antonov. While it is undeniably a significant step forward to replicate or assemble such technology, it does not equate to true self-sufficiency, nor can the credit simply be attributed to sanctions. In today’s interconnected world, innovation relies heavily on an international network of shared technology. Recreating the wheel is rarely cost-effective or practical

Meanwhile, in india we can't even make a fully functional drone yet. Great work by Iranian engineers.

Also btw india has self made light weight aircrafts that work under udaan scheme in north east short distances flights
On a positive note, India has had a moon landing.
its leadership fault by not allocating resources

I think sanctions are good for a country if you want self reliance
