So, The Supreme Court, while making the playing of the national anthem optional, had added that the “citizens or persons are bound to show respect as required under executive orders relating to the national anthem of India and the prevailing law, whenever it is played or sung on specified occasions passed down a new law stating that national anthems should be played in theaters but later in 1970 it changed and the reason National Anthem is not played in the cinema halls these days because it was found that the people used to leave the hall midway, laughing, shouting and creating a racket. I came in front to some viewpoints saying the national anthem should not be played in cinema halls because it's a place of entertainment, well then there should be a particular area for a person to get respected and some places not. But most of these disicions are taken by the government about having national anthem being in theaters in places like army theaters specifically made for army officers and high ranked people but as much as I know civilians also come in there.
