I know this was posted a while ago and you might not need the tip anymore. What you can do instead of picking and spinning flax is you can do easy temple trekks and choose bowstrings as a reward. 1 trek takes 3-5min depending on RNG and you get 100 each time. You can also get watermelon soods this way which is decent. There are a bunch of other rewards aswell.
