How to Fix : Setup Files are Corrupted please obtain a new copy of the program

Thanks mate, it worked.
I searched for the setup.exe in the %temp% directory, and found several other quarantined setup files too, so got the chance to recover all of 'em.

Is that just a random set up file or related to the actual game. You werent specific. I cant find that file. I have literaly lists and lists of files but cant seem to locate that folder. Trying to install AOE3 Prophet install file!

@@PAuLXPlain i did find files associated with my game but there was no setup. tried deleting all the files and trying to run it again but no setup.
however what i did figure out is....if a reboot in safe mode make anew folder and copy the game files into that then run setup.exe it worked. no error message.
did it also on a MacBook Air running windows 10 same way.
