God heals! I suffered with OCD/intrusive thoughts for years, and even though I still have some minor compulsions, God has healed me from the major intrusive thoughts and behavior patterns. He had provided me with a great family support system and a Christian counselor to help talk me through it. My heart goes out to all that suffer with this disorder. I know you wouldn’t wish this on even your worst enemy. Trust in the Lord, even though it seems hopeless right now. He knows your pain. God wouldn’t want you to suffer for religious purposes. And please know that you’re not alone. There is a whole percentage of us that has walked this seemingly lonely path, and we must be there for each other.

I just recently discovered this beautiful rendition and amazing video. My son was recently on tour of Ireland with his college. This gave me great comfort to know that he would be just fine! thank you so much. I absolutely love how the boy in the video remains peaceful, calm, and sure in spite of the conflict around him. He knows he is protected. God is reminding me that it is not about my circumstances, it is all about what is within me through God's grace. You have a true gift Jean thank you for sharing it!

This video has caused me to make my first TH-cam comment ever! Jean, very well done! As a non-Catholic enjoying a very Catholic version of St. Patrick's Breastplate for several years (and I still love it), I stumbled upon this one and gave it a try. I was literally brought to tears. It is extremely well done, from your singing, to the music, to the story backdrop--the combination of all three are a powerful combination. When it got to the scene of the boy trying out the sword, sobs just welled up--that's just like our Lord, isn't it? He allows even His children to participate in the kingdom. I watched it a few more times and kept noticing details about the story and how the music, colors, and story, how they all combined. I could go on. Anyway, very, very well done. Please keep doing what you are doing. Thank you for putting this on TH-cam. The Lord bless you richly.

Saints Marian and James’s Story
Saint Marian, an ordained lector, and Saint James, a deacon, were martyred during the persecution of Valerian around the year 259. Few other facts are known about them.
It seems that while they were in prison, each had a vision regarding his martyrdom. They drew courage from these apparitions and were able to courageously face death. They were joined in their deaths by other Christians.
Reflection
The old saying that the more things change the more they stay the same may apply to today’s celebration. Two faithful people facing the hardships of life during persecution in the third century may have a lot in common with those facing persecution for their faith today.

The ending of this beautiful piece surprised me at first because I did not expect it to end there (perhaps wishful thinking on my part), but the Child of God imagery for the “finis” is really perfect. I have a lot of family members, past and present, who have in the past and do now work with children and adults in the mental health field, mostly psychiatry but also social work and counseling psychology. It seems to me that a video such as this one could be a step for some in helping to heal conditions such as P.T.S.D., especially in a Christian context. VERY well done!
