cuz Cooper is the man in this scene. He lets her know that he truly loves her and that he values their love more than his pride and that he won't let it be destroyed by her fear. He also holds her accountable for hat she did though. It takes a real man to do both of these things at the same time.
Literally I’m at the end of season 4 and I came to TH-cam to see comments of people absolutely adoring them just as much as I do. I love them as a couple yes but Charlotte is hands down my favourite character. Like she projects this toughness but when her dad died and on the plane ride she was tryna get up to go cry and he just held her, I think that’s when I fell in love. She’s so brutally honest and it’s refreshing and makes perfect sense why she and Amelia like each other
Yeah they explained it. She was married before, he cheated, the skank he did it with hit Charlotte over the head and basically kinda caused her to become an addict after ....turned out her ex-husband was just gay and didnt know what to do, but it messed her up

Obvıously charlotte and cooper touched us more because cooper was apsolutely perfect whıle he was supportıng Charlotte and gıvıng her strength after her rape,she dıdnt ran or left hım lıke Vıolet dıd to Pete.Thats why I love drama more. First off Charlotte is just upset cause Cooper turned her down he had a good reason she just wanted to get married to fill a void that is empty in her life if they would’ve rushed their marriage it would be a long life of arguments and emotional pain basically a failed marriage that would tear them up in the process and Violit needed a friend at the time Coop was their Charlotte has no say she’s just mad and jealous....
