I visited the Filipino market (also known as Little Manila) in Hyewadong, Seoul Korea! My mom and I had a fun time looking around at the market (and was honestly shocked by the prices, pero understandable naman HAHAH) + we grabbed some Filipino food for lunch.

Langgam, guyam, and antik all mean “ant” but can also be more specific and refer to different species. Langgam is the most general but typically what you would call smaller species of ants like the red fire ant, guyam is just a deeper tagalog word but typically used in southern luzon to call leaf weaver ants but can also be used interchangeably with langgam, antik or hantik are for bigger ants like the black bullet ant
Pul Gemi ang langgam na red sa korean. Ang hantik eh yung black na langgam hüik pul gemi. Tama si ate, ordinaryong guyam, gemi nga lang. Haha

Sa Manila never ako naka encounter ng Guyam word, puro Langgam at Antik/Antek lang. Siguro sa Southern Tagalog provinces mas uso yung Guyam.

Dapat talaga na baguhin ang citizenship laws ng Pilipinas. Maraming mga lumaki at matagal na sa Pilipinas na di pwede maging citizen pero kapag kailangan natin ang basketball player sa national team e ang dali lang na gawin silang naturalized.
@@GTX311 sa South Korea din naman hindi pwede ang dual citizenship..
@@SHAQUILLE.OATMEAL26 South Korea allows it under some conditions. I did read more about dual citizenship in the Philippines and found out that foreigners can apply for citizenship. Only problem is that you have to renounce your other citizenship. So kahit pwede kang dual sa South Korea, di naman pwede sa Pilipinas.

Yes, langgam and guyam are the same. They both mean the same thing -- ant. Langgam is the primary Tagalog word for ant. Guyam is also Tagalog , but used primarily in the Batangas province. if I'm not mistaken.

Hi Jowonee ..... kagagaling lang dyan ng family ni Lynn Kim, Korean family YT vlogger din na nakatira sa Dumaguete kaya lang umu-ulan ng araw na kumain sila dyan. . Di nila alam meron pa lang lugar na ganyan sa Korea. Kung ako sa inyo dyan eh magtatanim na lang ako ng sanga ng"KANG KONG". Lagay nyo sa batyang may tubig at tutubo yan at pwede di sa may lugar na na-arawan para di maputla ang dahion ng kangkong. Masarap "adobong kangkong".
