Looks like some people thought that they will give Ruto the power and Raila will oversight him, hmmm. If you repeat that formula over and over, you weaken and discourage the person you want to stay in the oversight role and to never be in charge. People knew who Ruto was but they preferred to get an unfair advantage for their side by supporting him. There is nobody who is born to be permanently in opposition especially when you give him a dangerous adversary. I don't like Raila's negotiation posture but you also have to look at who he has to negotiate with and if they have a humane limit to their actions. I hope Gen Z will bring a new era in Kenya and not one that will be hijacked by the usual suspects.
