    With respect, I think this is a double edged sword. If students only see value in the entertaining parts of the learning process, it just makes the more traditional aspects even more difficult. I’m always reminding my students that they didn’t buy a ticket and I’m not here to entertain them.
    Student apathy is getting worse with each passing year. I blame the pandemic and their phones/social media. We’ll eventually get past the ramifications of the pandemic, but no one wants to touch the students’ access to phones in the classroom.
