Man Oh Man! He left out the the absolute greatest talkbox performance of all time! Peter Frampton rules, not to mention Joe Walsh what about him. I guess this guy doesn't know Rock Music other than Richie Sambora.
Thank youuuuuuuu!!!! I'm legit into this sound in music & it's pure magic to my ears...Roger Troutman was the artist who introduced me to this so well with his mannerisms and funky love songs

Dude, you're awesome. I newly started to get into talkbox. Always watching you. Are you gonna planning to make little series to teach us to get better?
How tf do you have a “best of talk box” video without mentioning Peter Frampton, Joe Walsh, Pink Floyd, Nazareth, moe., or Alice In Chains? I mean, props on getting Tupac but damn.
Another amazing Talk Box song I think is super underrated is Those Shoes by the Eagles. They do harmonizing guitar lines with talk box for the entire song and on top of that Joe Walsh has an amazing guitar solo on it!
I respect and salute you man you got so much soul, bro, and you are on top of your stuff man keep up the great work I love the talk box and I love that you know about it and not all of that autotune crap the talk box is way more underrated thank you big dog for keeping it real amen and to be honest you need to be teaching classes on how to use a talk box. definitely got it down pat.
Such a cool tool for musicians. I first heard the Talkbox on guitar, with Bon Jovi (noticed you featured Livin’ on Prayer), but I really dig how David Gilmore uses it, especially on Animals. I knew there was some keys players that used them. But not to the extent you have shown here. You are obviously passionate about it. And so talented with using it. How long have you been using it?
You should really check out Gilmore’s solos. Killer. Not quite Pop, Funk etc. but super groovy album (Animals). Also was kind of surprised you didn’t include any Daft Punk.
@@PlayNowWorkLater John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Zapp had a hit called "More Bounce" on their first album. It opened everyone's ears to the Talkbox in the 80's Roger was certainly key to getting this started back then.
Hey Landen, great vids!! I just got talk box this week and discovered your channel. Still hard at this point to make many sounds, like C's, S's, T's, but will keep practising. Make sure to check out the song Haitian Divorce by Steely Dan for awesome talkbox solo's!
Roy Vedas `fragments of life` is probably early autocorrect (came out same time as the Cher hit) but if you haven't heard it and you like talkbox....this is a must
Bcs you talked about Bon Jovi. Maybe you could mention next time the talkbox in “It‘s My Life“. I think the talkbox was even more crazier there than in “Living On A Prayer”

Check out Bon Jovi, We Got It Goin On from 2018. It was recorded with Richie Sambora but this performance is after he left the band so it's featuring the current lead guitarist Phil X and he just kills it. We Got It Goin On is off of their Lost Highway record from 2007. The 2000's is really where Bon Jovi made use of the Talk Box on literally all of their studio albums in this decade. Crush, Bounce, Have A Nice Day, Lost Highway and The Circle each have at least one song that features the Talk Box, even if it's only sparingly used. Most of the songs they used it on in studio actually would go on to later not feature it in the live setting, especially if it's on a song like Everyday off of the Bounce record where it's only used as a very VERY brief intro. The last song recorded by the band featuring the Talk Box is one of the tracks recorded for the Greatest Hits in 2010 called This Is Love, This Is Life, though they never used the Talk Box in real time the couple of times they played it.
How does Mr talkbox get his tone so clear and intelligible? Ive been at it awhile now and mine is decent, but still not as clear as his. FYI I'm using a MXR talkbox as well as Talkbox Jr (plugin) using no effects going into the talkbox
And Stevie Wonder used the Talkbox too. Music of my mind, particularely is an example. And in Black Man in Songs in he Key of Life, the record made in 76.
