Great reaction! Ahyeon (AH-yeon) is my bias but I love them so much for different reasons! All have their own vibe and vocal tones. They are going to be coming in swinging in the Kpop industry. Keep in mind these videos are over a year old so the amount of growth and potential they have now. I can't wait for them to debut soon! Hope you can react to the rest of the members!
I think that you said Jennie would be your bias, then Ahyeon would make sense to be your bias in this group since most people think that she is Baby Jennie. If you get to the "Last Evaluation" videos then you will see more of her personality and while people say not to compare, it is hard to not to say that Ahyeon gives off Jennie vibes. Since the majority of the performance videos were recorded about two to three years ago, the growth of the individuals and group from that time to when the 'Last Evaluation' videos were recorded is unbelievable. I don't want to spoil too much but when you get through all the members and start watching the 'Last Evaluation' videos you will be surprised at how much the trainees go through just to become a YG Artist. BLACKPINK went through the same training process and they started with 9 trainees are well but ended with the 4 that we know today. It is really hard and so they either get cut or drop out and the 'Last Evaluation' shows the last two months of the trainee evaluations for BABYMONSTER. But this video of Ahyeon (most people pronounciate it as eye•yawn but I heard other people pronounce it differently) she shows that you don't have to be the jack of all trades, master of none because she does excel in a lot of different areas. There is not much people in the music industry that is like her not just the K-pop world. She does have that drive to succeed and might seem a little 'bossy' to some people but there is solid reasoning behind it.
It's awesome to get this much insight into how K-pop groups are trained and formed. The amount of dedication these young people have is amazing, it's a lot like elite athletes trading for years to be the best. Unfortunately so many miss out on making it this far, it must be crushing for them, I'm often torn be the ethics of the industry.
