    Hope you guys like the video, I’ve not done a proper “update” video as such but I saw the notes come out and couldn’t help myself!

    Commented on your Reddit post but thought I’d drop a comment down in here.
    Video is pretty good, but in terms of the update I believe that both tanks are a bad idea. Both have the option of being extremely overpowered if not balanced correctly

      Hey, thanks for coming over from Reddit, as I responded over there -
      it’s definitely something that needs proper balancing. It concerns me about the concept but it’s always exciting to get new toys, I just hope they aren’t broken.
      As I mentioned in the video it’s exciting for the new vehicles but the more I think of it, the more the logi part of me is dying inside

    What do you mean a pintle-mounted machinegun is unfair?

      A pintlemount is a type of mount that allows the gun to rotate a full 360, having the machine gun cover a full 360 with the dual 20mm would make it almost impossible to approach if you were to get say…3 or 4 in a push

      @@TheBlazingWolfie The use a tank to kill it, get a bane or two, bring friends with rockets. C'mon, a new problem doesn't mean there aren't solutions.

      Oh I’m 100% not staying it’s a problem without any solutions, however when there is not armour around there should be ways for infantry to destroy tanks

      @@TheBlazingWolfie I disagree, infantry is cheap and numerous, if you could kill even the best tanks with less than 4-5 organized players with the best AT it would turn tanks into over-glorified baits and logi would spend more RMats into arty and cement bbs that are much more frustrating to fight than any tanks.
      The Highwayman is going to be a mere support for the widow/outlaw/silverhand anyway. HWM is good at clearing infantry and instead of situational PvE it has situational AT. It's basically a tank that is better in some areas than Chieftain, but Chieftain was already a barely viable tank to play and there was need for some anti-infantry for warden armor.
      While wardens filled the void of anti-infantry, collies filled their void of PvE tanks with the Quadiche which will make it even more difficult to use Highwayman for AT since it's squishy and taking 4 RPGs gets you dangerously close to being disabled for a tank that has to reach 30m range. Bardiche completely shreds anything in his 35m range and HVFAT of course complete death sentence charging into one of those... so collies have basically perfect meta tanks against this Highwayman.
      If you think infantry is defenseless you've not been using Banes. 4-5 Banes at night, sneak to it's side, fire at once. 4 pens disable Outlaw, 5th finishes it off. If it's the beefiest warden tank (Silverhand) then you'd need 5 to disable and 6 to destroy. Both scenarios assuming they had 100% HP. Even frontally from trench you can deter them from getting closer and drain their BMats until proper response arrives, same as warden infantry can't do shit about Bardiche/Spatha with their AT. They are the end-game of tech, they aren't supposed to be countered by 8 BMat peasants.
      The HWM will be good in small skirmishes, QRF and anti-infantry support that previously had to do King Spire or Chieftain and neither felt right, now the warden tank kit is complete and Quadiche/Bardiche/HVFAT is imo also complete kit for collies. Late game looks more balanced than it ever did so hopefully they don't screw it up with the 1.0 release.
