Hi Jayson, great video. Please keep posting as I am learning a lot from your content. Just one question that I do not understand (or maybe our definitions do not align). On the Slide at 16:30 min in it clearly states at the bottom of the study by Forbes "Effect of High Intensity Interval training on time required for PCR recovery." I have never before seen HIIT considered endurance training but instead explosive sprint training. You continue to explain that endurance training speeds up PCR recovery. Then you also overlay this on your summary to the right in the last seconds of displaying this slide. Interesting at the bottom of the diagram it state "Training Speeds Recover (Forbes 2008). This leads me to the conclusion that the study is referring to HIIT training which to my understanding is in contrast to endurance training. I hope you can clear up the confusion. I would of thought the study was referring to anaerobic training (Sprint) rather than aerobic (endurance). It makes sense in my head also as it is stressing this pathway to create the adaptations for quicker recovery. My definition of HIIT is explosive where you have a lot of Phosphocreatine and glycolysis just as you explained for Football and Basketball. Does your definition on HIIT differ?
