El Dorado News-Times press has its final run

The El Dorado News-Times press had its final run on Sunday night. The Goss Urbanite press was installed in the office on North Madison in 1964 and worked hard for the community for more than five decades. Iva Gail Stafford, production manager, said she was told it was one of the oldest presses still operating in the United States.

Shame to see papers going out of business, still love to see and hear the sound of a press.
I ran/built for Goss back in late 80s/90s. Built allot of Communitys few Urbanites, fun and exciting job.

Rotativa goss urbanite, una maquina muy buena, y muy triste porque otra rotativa deja de imprimir. Trabajé en una de éstas desde 1991 hasta el 2015 en Lima Perú.
