Looks so good! No (big) screens, just an old skool backglass with displays, no crowded playfield with multiple rails and too much gadgets... I start to like 'new' pinball machines again.
Just played this game for my first time today. Initially I was dismayed, feeling the playfield seemed barren. But after just one game, the clarity, simplicity, and progress of the gameplay totally hooked me, and I want to go back to play it again! A testament to a good design, I think.
Was fortunate enough to play one at IAAPA 2023, wow this one blew me away. Feels great, shoots great, overall a super solid piece. Can't wait for my local spot to get one

Got to play it @ INDISC & found it fun, a good shooter with some tight shots & many pleasant surprises. Love that Pawn Shop mech. Definitely has the nostalgic feel of old school pinball complimented by modern tech & quality build. Thanks for sharing with a wider audience Mate.

I played this game at Pintastic in New England and I liked it. I’m not even a fan of the movie, only seen it twice. I also like ramps and even without ramps it was fun. I wouldn’t buy one as there are so many great choices nowadays. I heard that it was Quentin Tarantino himself who wanted this pinball made and he wanted it to be a 1970’s style pinball. They did a great job making it feel vintage while putting a lot of today’s decorations in the game. My first impression was that it shoots great and not that I’m necessarily a great player, I had long ball games. They will sell a lot if CGC manages to build them. It has a cool ‘70s vibe for people who prefer older machines and a theme that for a lot of people was a dream theme with such a cult classic movie.

The one weird thing that always stands out to me on this machine is the rectangle inserts used for the characters, I would have thought circular inserts on the heads would have looked cleaner.
When they showed pictures of the prototype it had round inserts aligned with the characters heads, so must have been a conscious decision at some point to change to rectangles.
I'm not sure, there's plenty of other round inserts, they weren't close together or anything, I assumed it was a stylistic choice, although I agree, the round ones would look better. @@NeonNijahn
I played this table about a week ago and this was likely the best pinball machine I have played in the last 20 years. Don't be discouraged by the fact that this game does not have a dot matrix display like all of the Stern machines do. In my experience, playing pinball is all about the sound and tactile experience. It helps that this game has some toys in the table that you won't find in a true 80's LED numerical scoring game. Quentin Tarantino actually commissioned this machine (as stated above) for his home use and is available to play or buy if you know where to find it. It is a tight machine with powerful flippers that have no latency in their action (I have played some new Stern machines that suck in this department), and the table is just great; it lets you score stuff and isn't about launching your ball down the chute. A smart player will use the center pin between the flippers to their advantage. Old school but fresh and snappy at the same time. Lots of ruckus and multi ball fun in this one. Great pinball machine.

I agree with a lot of things. But one detail that bugs me, because perhaps its so big, is the gun. the handle looks right but they are Nickle plated in the movie. It would look awesome if it was a shiny chrome or something like it
Certain to sell more than other recent releases. It's got it all. Many will like the theme. Then it's got the call outs the music the lightshow and the layout that will appeal to non elite skill group which is most players. Combine that with one of the lowest prices around. Anyone think they should have made more with the topper an optional extra ?

Thanks for Subscribing Zane. If you like a deep ruleset then I'd go for Godzilla which has an amazing code and great shots. But Deadpool is probably my favourite game and I have a pro. It's a blast, great humour, easy to understand. Shorter games than GZ but very addictive and an amazing multiplier shot and ball lock.

But GZ is a great game, particularly if you're a really good player and like deep long games. It has great shots and something for everyone. Deadpool is a blast, it's funny, fast and easy to understand with a couple of really cool shots and an amazing multiball.
Tough to say, I had EJ in my house for a month and know all the shots and rules. I've played three games in a noisy environment of Pulp. There is also a £5000 price difference. I suspect I'll choose Pulp but I'll know more once it arrives in a couple of weeks.
Looks empty with 0 flow or combos, unlike Bond-60th that will buckle your knees when you combo the shots, Pulp Fiction looks like an Amateur designed it
I see the same...and that extra-repetitive music (and callouts) will grow, quite quickly, very tiresome. I'd much rather Bond 60th. This looks to be for the Tarantino crowd alone.

I wish pinball machines had a timed quiet mode you could enter without a key in the menu. Like for the duration of your game.
