Superb, we loved Dinan and Concarneau many years ago when wen we stayed in a Gite in the countryside near St Malo. We look forward to travelling in Brittany in our campervan one day. Thank you for sharing your inspirational trip. Not surprised you ran out of steam towards the end, 5 weeks ia a long time in a campervan, so far, only experienced one week, but it was great. We will be able to go for much longer trips, after we've retired 😄❤️🚐

There are so many lovely places in Brittany to explore and all the way up the coast towards Calais. We use google maps and the ACSI card app to find campsites. ACSI is cheap if you are out of July and august. I could have stayed for a week in the Dinan area it was so beautiful 🚐

I'm working my way through your back catalogue. Spooky how many campsites/places we've overlapped/or places I have on a list like Picos de Europa. We loved Noirmoutier, June 22 we were there, our first trip to France in our van after converting it. More rustic than Ile de Ré and Ile d'Oleron. There were plenty of Dutch but no Brits. We've cycled all over the islands and absolutely adore all the seafood, hitres pain et vin stalls....I know not your favourite. We didn't cycle the tidal road back to the mainland, was high tide and a bit swimmy. Will definitely go back sometime when we have more time.... definitely need to retire.

We absolutely loved our stay on all 3 islands - each quite different in their own way- definitely want to return to Noirmoutier and stay further up the island at the Huttopia site and like you say- cycle the cause way.
The Picos was just such a lovely surprise that we honestly had never heard of until the week before we left the UK and someone recommended it. So many places to still explore 🚐 happy travels x

Not long back from France so following your travels with envy. Shame you didn’t get the Huttopia site. It’s great but mainly for the location but there is another site right beside it mainly used by locals but also lovely. Ile de Re has always been our favourite of the islands but we were blown away by the north of Noirmoutier. Just beautiful coves and beaches at every turn. Felt like the Caribbean in a lot of places. Enjoy what’s left of your travels.

We only had a couple of nights on the island and will definitely go back as we really liked it, we cycled around the Huttopia site to have a sneaky peak, it looked great x
