Guys please rememebr the pros need to know how to use a bunch of hunters/survivors. Especially for the hunters, training up mastery is hard. In competitions they get anxious and dont make the best decisions. You can play gamekeeper in rank, they can too, and they reach the top of the ranks. But in comps its a different headspace. Even the best hunters make these mistakes. Also explorer is underrated in comps. Survivors who excel in hiding makes the hunters ban explorers, its not as dumb as you make it to be. (Xawm bans explorers on lakeside/leos memory very often)
I am so sick of watching these Gamekeepers who don't know basic camping tactics. Hasha could have used the oldest trick in the book to possibly secure a 3K. Wildling is at half health so she can try using the hook to terror-shock the Wildling as he rescues. That way there is no attack recovery and the pop is much easier to handle. It's risky, but it's at least worth a shot. Worst-case scenario Wildling takes a chip hit and you knock him down anyway. TE_ppei could have also done a basic strategy. We don't see it in the video, but they were next to Weeping outside of the radius for a bit. If you hook a survivor into a trap it basically guarantees the hook will be ready by the time they make it to the chair. Then you use the same tactic I mentioned earlier of using the hook to terror-shock. I have done this in rank before, and it works. If I can stop a full health lawyer from rescuing you guys have no excuses.
How do you hook into a trap? Do you have time to place a trap on top of them after hooking? If you have to place it before how do you manage to hook on top of it…
@ Oh! Allow me to explain. You set up a trap either before hand or as the survivor approaches. Then you stand over the trap and try to hook them. If you hit them, they get pulled back towards you and they get ensnared in the trap. Then the traps duration will end around when your hook has 6 seconds left. This is around enough time to have it ready by the chair again. Especially if you can body block or trap them far away. Actually I may have a clip. I can try to find it if you want.
