I think Joey transitioning his music into Japanese is the best way to get his music noticed as it stands out much better! 🔥
It’s already in Japanese! Go check out Ikurru. That’s his artist name. His English music has all been comedy/parody music. Ikurru is his serious stuff.
@@twistedshananigans Ik he has done parody songs but he tried doing a serious album which defo needed improving on vocals. I think if he wanted to focus on music he needs to spend more time on it and cut down on content like fellow TH-camr/artist KSI did, which worked out brilliantly for him.
@@XXX_XI_MM To be totally fair to Joey, his album was recorded at his house without the aid of an audio engineer. Have him do it again in a proper studio and you'd be surprised at how much better it sounds.
@@shadowtheimpure My cousin recorded a album at home during the pandemic and 2 in studios it didn’t make much difference, Joey English singing voice really needs developing that’s why he should try vocal lessons to improve upon. His Japanese voice of course is gonna sound different but it’s sounds more appealing!

For real, like I shouldnt be surprised considering he's half Japanese and has been in and out of the country for his whole life, but its so easy to forget its basically just a second first language for him
I mean - it's not like he learned Japanese later in his life. Sure - he perfected it when he was a bit older, but he's been around Japanese since the very beginning. He's told the story on trash taste w few times - that his japanese mom only spoke to him in japanee. It's quite clear he was able to pick up on the accent and such.

They know 2-3 Languages an avg and for 1st language depend on who they talk to.

The difference a proper recording studio and an audio engineer can make to a recording, yeah? He was already good when half-assing it at home, a proper studio just elevated him that much more.

I was skeptical of anime man's singing ability but since i was a long time fan of nano, i decided to listen to this cover. And my god, Joey sang so well in this. The way nano and his voice mixed was awesome
I came in with no expectations and was NOT prepared to be blown away like this.

Her alto-tenor voice and his deeper baritone-bass voice work very well in tandem as neither is too high or low compared to each other.

Damn, this is the weirdest and best crossover. Been following Nano for like a decade, Joey for a similar amount of time, and been a big fan of King Gnu since I found them a couple of years ago. Never expected this, then again Nano on Trash Taste was a welcome surprise as well.

I had a quick doubletake because I just finished watching the collab on Joey's channel and oh my gosh I don't remember his voice being THIS good-- like, I feel like the only real video I saw of him singing was so long ago when he still had a more.... not quite there yet? A little strained voice, I think that was his unravel cover so that probably didn't help

Both Joey's and Nano's voices complement each other like two sides of a same coin. I really can't describe how great they sound. But all I can say is that their music slaps, and I can't wait to hear some more. Oh yeah I also hope to hear thier future music in an anime cause this one is perfect for one!🙌🏽😁💕

this is hella good, and literally everyone uses autotune to some degree. It still sounds like Joey so it’s not extremely different
What makes this song so peculiar in a good way is the not so in line voice both you and joey have, his is very different contrast that stands out like a glitch in a system, like it doesn’t fit, but my gawd it adds a ton of flavor to the vocals, it peaks people’s interest because his voice is off. That is what makes the song even more better, imperfect perfection

Honestly loved the very end so much when they sang "zenbu zenbu". The way there was only Joey's "uuu" at the end was so great, paired with Nano's higher note... ASLKDJASLKD addicting.

I've been listening/watching this on repeat and after watching joeys (BTS)Vlog of this and the recording I can say the man is lacking more than a little confidence in himself, it kind of shows but the thing is he's doing great(maybe he's just his biggest critic so he might just be too hard on himself). Hopefully more collabs and vids like this will give him the boost he needs. Cant wait for more.

Congrats on this amazing collab on a wonderful song! You both obviously slay all over the track, particularly in the wonderful harmonies both your voices produce. My favorite detail in this cover is the decision to sustain the final vowel sounds in words (most notable in Joey holding the 'te' in "furuwashite" at 42 seconds in and the 'be' in "sekurabe" at a minute seven seconds) really adds a level of passion in the delivery that resonates with me a lot. Thank you all for this!
