*Dreamcatcher* ..SO underrated. Other groups may "speak" on environmental issues BUT Dreamcatcher "sings" about it. "Fairytale" is the other song that's great on this 4 song album. They deserve more recognition and awards than what they have. Thanks for hyping them up Luke maybe you've made new fans

Dreamcatcher came with a concept not seen in Kpop (girl groups) and it took them a long time to stand out in Korea, being much more successful worldwide.
The lyrics of their songs are amazing, talking about topics that are not common in girl groups.
For that reason and because of their personalities, they are my favorite girl group, and not only in Kpop but in music in general.

@@GOTGames Yes! Her low voice for rapping gives the song a good variety of sounds that gives the song some really good excitement and surprise. imho, much better than Blackpink. I'm not a Blink, but I do like 3 of their songs, and only the Japanese versions.
Coming from a Babymetal fanbase, Dreamcatcher's live performances are pretty decent, not BM level, but good enough that I'd want to go see them some day.

Dreamcatcher are heading to London this November as part of their European tour and I've seen that tickets are available on sites such as Ticketmaster.
Hi. Dreamcatcher is scheduled to tour concerts in Germany (Berlin), Netherlands (Tiburg), Poland (Warsaw), U.K (London) and France (Paris) from mid-November to late November this year. As far as I know, ticket reservations are in progress. I went to the New York concert, one of Dreamcatcher's concerts in the United States, in July, this year. It was such an amazing and great concert. Even now, when I think about the concert, I get so excited that my heart trembles and I get goosebumps all over my body. Needless to say, it was just the best concert. 👍

the second of their 'apocalypse' trilogy is actually an anti-war message. maison was about the environment. I initially thought it would carry on with an environmental message but now it's pretty clear apocalypse is not limited to an end due to the climate.
Glad that I am not the only one who cries when I hear this, the lyrics and this video that sings for the world and also peace. We need peace, we need to work together to save the nature and our world or home. thanks for reaction on Dreamcatcher and show me, that other can feel like me with this groupe and this song. I love them so much. I would love to see this one live, but I don't regret seeing their North America Apocalypse tour. My first kpop concert and seeing them live was just a great, overwhelming experience. I took my niece with me, she told me, "They have got such great stage presence! That song was good!" She went from a dead face to excited as the concert progressed. Vision is really intense, hits you right in the face with its visuals and message. Thanks for your reaction! :D

Siyeon is pretty darn good, I love her solo song Paradise. You should try listening to Babymetal's From Dusk to Dawn. Suzuka Nakamoto has a powerful enough voice to sing over heavy metal instrumentation. And she came from a jpop background. Okay, back to more Dreamcatcher.

I think you should REALLY check them out live. I know you don’t react to them a lot bc they don’t generate enough views, but even without filming a reaction, you need to watch a live version of any song because the stage presence!! Also we don’t see much choreo in their MVs but their choreos are incredible, and they often have the domino effect that always look so cool 🥹🫶 And the live vocals, Siyeon’s adlibs, Dami’s raps they’re just incredible live!! Have you checked out their older songs yet? I know you've reacted to the Dystopia trilogy, BEcause and Maison (all 2020-onward), but their earlier stuff (2017-2019) is amazing as well, starting from their debut "Chase Me", which was also the start of their "Nightmare series" (consisting of 6 Korean songs and one Japanese one).
The MVs of that series tell more of a horror story (about them being trapped in a Nightmare dimension), and while the lyrics also use a lot of horror imagery, there's a deeper layer of meaning about mental health.
And the lyrics of "Chase Me" specifically are about being true to yourself and not trying to fit the mold that other people want you to, which was perfect considering the fact that it was an explosive and daring rock debut in a K-pop scene that (especially back then) wasn't very accepting of rock (which is probably also why it took them so long to get their first music show win).
I'd be surprised if no one told you all this before, and I understand your schedule must be busy, but I'd love to see your reactions to more of Dreamcatcher's songs!

And there are a few more stand-alone singles that aren't part of any series as well; like Full Moon and Over the Sky (both dedicated to their fans), Deja Vu and R.o.S.E. BLUE (both made for collaborations with video games) and more Japanese singles, Endless Night, No More and Eclipse (the last one being an actual opening for an anime).
And that's not even mentioning all their b-sides and amazing covers they've done. So much Dreamcatcher content left to sink your teeth into 😊

"Vision" is part 2 of the Apocalypse trilogy. I believe they are showing us the perspective from the future in this series, showing us how the earth looks like when we keep acting like we do. While "Maison" was talking about the destruction of the environment, here they are talking about the destruction due to war. I don't know if that was the idea from the beginning, but Putin's aggression definitely played a role here. In one set they even dance in front of what looks like a huge trident, which is the coat of arms of Ukraine (could be a coincidence though, or I'm seeing things).
It is easy to see how the conflict in Ukraine could result in global destruction. It's just a push of a button away. Note that Dami presses a launch button, but it's not for nukes. It's for spreading their message, their vision. Peace. To be heard all around the world. It looks like a shield around the planet, and it could very well be, then I'm wrong. 😉
So, do we fight? There is no easy answer. Dami has an outfit that shows that perfectly. One half is an innocent bridal dress, the other half is badass. What I know is that any aggressor only listens to very limited diplomacy, and they need to know that the good in the world is ready and willing to fight them if needed. Whoever the aggressor is, we are more than them. They need to know they will never succeed, the only option is peace.
By the way, if you shorten the album title, it reads: A:FU. So *FU* aggressor. Bye bye to this nightmare.
Musically, it's heavier than Maison, and I feel it fits the subject matter very well. It sounds aggressive and heavy, but also soft and vulnerable. There is the duality again. And I love the fake keychange at the end of the chorus, the crazy bass and the guitar in the bridge. All in all this is a fantastic release!

I'm gonna get hate for this, but Dreamcatcher is more epic and elegant than Blackpink. Although their songs sometimes sound alike with similar hooks, the singers in Dreamcatcher can sing, and the ratio of 2 rappers to 5 vocalists works. Blackpink's ratio is 2 rappers to 2 vocalists, and you can feel how one side seems to fight against the other in their songs. Dreamcatcher is truly unified and are balanced very well. It also helps that the two rappers can also really sing. I became an instant Dreamcatcher fan since this MV dropped. I've listened to everything they've done by now. They are awesome.
