Finally someone giving the Netherlands some respect. FYI Blind won't play as we are playing 4 at the back and Ake will be left back or van de Ven. Also there hasn't been a Dutch falling out since 96 lol and the group really likes each other and Koeman since he turned things around in 18/19. Almost every channel mentions the falling out option probably because it happened in England. And even then we reached the knock out stage. 2012 wasn't due to a falling out.
Yeah, Blind probably (hopefully) won’t be LB, as both Aké or VDV got the preference to play there during the last friendlies. Also because of unfortunate injuries, Koeman was finally able to see the light and call up an actual left back in Ian Maatsen. So there are definitely better options in that position

Nice of you to have some trust in the Dutch NT. I know we are never favourites but i don't understand why so many people often do not rate us at all. We have a pretty balanced team right now and Koeman has shown previously that he can make them play beautiful football.
Form is also important leading up to the euros. They beat Canada 4-0 last week while France only managed to draw 0-0. They also beat Iceland 4-0 who England lost 1-0 to.
Well, most people predict they’re up against Portugal very quickly and that’s when they’re out. I can’t disagree, the Dutch have a disastrous track record against Portugal. Any other country but Portugal and France in the knock out stage and I think they have a good chance of winning.

I think a lot of people have Portugal going through on one side of the draw and then England and France facing off in the semis (I have France winning and then it's a toss up who wins the final) but after what happened with Iceland and given the state of England's squad, I think there could be a surprise or two in the group stage.

As a Dane I'm sad to say I don't think Denmark are gonna make it through the group, we have been on a terrible form, with some player luckily saving us from TERRIBLE perfomances, we only beat San Marino 2 - 1, and lost against Northen Ireland, and our manager makes some horrible players for the tourney, he picked players that are completly out of form and haven't played well for club and national team, while not picking Matt O'Riley who was player of the season in Scotland, who hasn't seen a SINGLE match for the national team, not even a friendly.

deserves credit just for that 2018 semi IMO, such a weak squad compared to where we're at now. A Euros win probably means beating France at some point, so yeah.

But when your knowledge stops after the first 5-8 top teams, it is a bit superficial.
Of course I base the most of this on your presentation of Denmark, only naming the two United players and calling our defense weak.
You do know Kasper Schmeichel, Andreas Christensen, which a top FB when he is fit, Joakim Andersen with a strong season I Palace, Højbjerg, Nørgaard, Hjulmand which are a rocketing star and I do believe United will get him after the Euros.
The rest are playing in top 5 leagues and we are coming with a massive support over the border.

Koopmeiners and Frenkie de Jong aren't playing, so I'm guessing Netherlands is going to be utter crap.
They're a big loss but i feel like Schouten and Veerman are up to it. Plus they have been playing together at PSV so they'll have good chemistry.
FdJ has been out for quite some time now, so even though he's our best midfield player, the team will cope without him.

Find the whole "I don't support England thing boring". I would class myself as a hardcore united fan go home and away but I still support England because it's where I'm from and it's my country at the end of the day. whilst understanding some of the negativity from united fans when it comes to England, England fans bashing united players and the media. I can separate the two and still support my country for what it is because I'm from there. I don't know man sometimes it comes across like trying to be hip or cool not supporting England at all. It has a Scouse vibe to it, an over sense of cringing self importance from some united fans. I must stress again I do understand the reasons to extent for not being super attached to England, being a united fan myself it pisees me off the way some united players are treated but that isn't just with England it all year round so it is what it is. it's because we are one of the biggest clubs in the world

I’m with you on this. I think Portugal play better without Ronaldo, because then there playing more as a team.
With Ronaldo in the team, he basically demands all balls go trough him and he dictates the play. It sometimes feels like he’s holding back his teammates with this. Of course he still a very good footballer, but it seems like his mind hasn’t caught up that his body isn’t always capable anymore to do what he wants and thinks he can do.
