The last 10 sec of the final round proves Hozin is one of the best in the world. So clean and effortless. I love Jaygee's style so fun to watch on top of the fact he's given us some of the funkyist beats of all time also puts him in God status.

love both dancers. thought hozin was gonna win going in. After watching tho i was sure jaygee won it. missed call here. First round slight edge to hozin, but jay crushed the second round. Jaygee.

Pointing out Hozin's good moments in this battle in first round
What he did in 2:08 where he animated his left leg while and lift it up behind his right leg to hit that high pitch 'weaw' beat
2:17 where he went down with his right leg while strobing it on the way down with the character of looking up saying weaww
2:25 where he was meant to go off balance but didn't coz of the fluid recovery (Jaygee is also good at this one) :3
What he did in 2:31, the music play where he hit the drop after doit doit doit 'CLACK'.
What he did in 2:36 where he stopped for a second with his hand close to his feet to hit that 'clack' beat :D
I thought that second round was a tie :O
For me Hozin won both rounds, Jaygee's way to ride beat is really crazy but Hozin executed the music more precisely. Both their character are smooth and unexpected so the winning point is how to handle the polyrhythm...Hozin's 2nd round was sooooo damn good.
Guangyu Huo yeah what stood out for me in the second round of hozin was when he switched the flow 180 degrees and started hitting different parts of the music instead :O
Shan Shin also 2:26 hozin was pulling his right leg back to the "ah" sound
and 2:30 spinning his finger to the 16 beat( doit~doit~doit~tzu tzu tzu tzu)

LMFAO it's fine to be a fan of hozin, but in NO WAY can you expressly state hozin's difficulty level is higher. Their basis, foundation and approach to music are simply different. They are equally difficult in their own areas. What you said is something a proper popper would know not to comment.

I have seen Hozin become popular before and then going down slowly to change his style then I see him slowly finding the new style again :D I know Hozin is really good with boogaloo too as he even has a 1 hour video of pure boogaloo without repeating any move lol :D

i know that's the problem lol hozin did very well tho but damn jaygee is just on another level
been learning boogaloo for a while and every angle jaygee does not many people can do no matter long you've been training. Crazy angles! and very subtle musicality which the untrained eye cannot see
Cedrou21 because he just mixed Boogaloo Sam's flavors throughout the years (70's since now). Hozin is doing his own original flava. Both are dope don't get me wrong but originality is very important. Just look at Slim Boogie. He's a legend because he doesn't bite or searches videos from the OG's that no one has seen to copy and then claim it. Anyway respect to both approaches, diversity is appreciated
hozin is good and original, many people try copy him but he doesn't copy anyone. Sure he learned from the electric boogaloo's but he looks nothing like any of the eb's still got his own style. However I like hozin's old style more than his new style same with his bro dokyun
only problem with hozin is when he does mr wiggles 52 pops style and he does better in showcases than in battles
