Back in 1979 after watching the Dukes of Hazzard on TV and a couple of beers we use to climb through the windows of my Charger and hit the road, Yee Haa ........ The Good'ol days.
4:32 they put the lightbar is backwards cause it's a CA car which has amber flashers but funny how I just realized and I've been watching this for a while
Yes, the amber 'light' is supposed to face rearward. If you look at all of the old 'Adam 12' cars the can lights they used had amber bulbs in the rear and red in the front. Even the slick top CHP cars used amber package tray lights sometimes combined with a red. The car already had amber lights in the front, just red in the rear which was the North American standard at the time. Europe used amber for directional indicators front and back.
@@vincemajestyk9497 yea CA at the time had steady burn laws with rear amber flashes if department was in a more populated city according to the emergency vehicle code on the Internet Warner Bros most likely bought old CHP or LAPD cars caused they started to use those lightbars in the late 70s and 80s
Chrysler should pay to bring this show back for a new generation I bet it would help sell a bunch of cars. To bad they are stuck in this electric crap.

The Charger at 3:41 is a 68. Check out the round, painted-over side marker lights.
I heard they used some 68 chargers making the show as well, and even 70 chargers with the the removed wrap around chrome grille bumper
@TopG800 yep, they are different front fenders between a 70 and 68/69, so most likely they bolted on a 68 or 69 nose.
@@TopG800 There weren't any 1970 Chargers.
@@MrPAULONEAL they did, google it
Thank you , ...🙂
No worries!
Take a Mopar to catch a Mopar😎
Sort of odd how skinny the tires are on that Charger for 'High performance' driving. Skinny even for then.
The narrower tires are easier for stunt men to break loose and slide the cars around corners. You'll notice Knight Rider did the same thing.
Hollywood tires squealing in the dirt and never gets old!
This is true. Tires will do that in dirt.
most abused chargers ever
Yeeeee haw!
'He really can't drive at all rosco 😂' at 2:27 mark.
No wipers on general lee/ long live ole chargers 68s& 69s 🏁🤛👊🤜💪✌️🫡👍

Good tv before the whining softies got in the way and screwed everything up
