They are super cool and laid back. I got the chance to open for them back home in Philly, playing percussion on stage with my family, Vertical Current.
Oh, my god, the mix on this is incredible! I love you all so much-discovered Moonchild in ATL when they opened for Kamasi Washington in the winter of '17/'18, and they blew my fucking socks off! The Truth is one of my favorite tunes of theirs-absolutely dripping with butter in that pocket feel with those rich, middy jazz chords. Literally brings me to tears. The funk. Good god, please continue!
