Some of these aren’t robots. The AT AT and Tripod are war vehicles. Like a tank. And an AMP, Megazord and Gipsy Danger are mechas. Piloted by people.

I'm sorry. But there's no way Wall-E is that small. His main cube part of his body MIGHT be as small as 0.4M, but adding his wheels and eyes, he's gets almost twice as tall (0.8M)

There is a direct interaction between the human and the robot here. If ATAT has no human it in, it is not a vehicle. Therefore, it is a remote-controlling robot.

Anime robots: Pretty normal for a while, and then, towards the end, when robots are already planet-sized, the screen starts zooming out to a truly worrying degree for Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagaan.

The largest form of Gurren Lagann that could rightfully be considered a robot (or mech, more accurately) would be Super Galaxy which is the size of the moon. The Tengen Toppa forms and STTGL are beings of pure energy.

I think robots may have different meanings to some. Like does a mech suit count as a robot? Can robots have human operators inside or do they have to be controlled from the outside? I guess it depends on the definition

Feels like this deserves a revisit get some more anime representation in there! Japan has now built a moving 1:1 scale 18m tall Gundam and it's not even mentioned here!

I would love to see the OG Transformers included (main ones like Prime, Megatron, Unicron).
Also a Gundam video would be cool. All the main Gundams and the key villain suits. Along with some of the common grunts (like Zaku's, Zakutank, GM, etc).

Awesome video. I would love to see a greatly expanded version of this, with everything mobile suit, mecha, and giant robot related. Throw in some Gundams both original and modern, a few other mobile suits from Gundam, original Optimus Prime as well as movie version, the mech suit from Alien, various other mechs from anime, all kinds of stuff. That would be really cool.
