Do you ever do farm houses in the country with a long lane way to one side of the house? I’d be interested in seeing some of those as they are very common here in southern Ontario.

Putting into a 4' perimeter rock bed around my house and putting a French drain underneath. Any ideas on plants with compact root systems that won't venture into the French drain or would you recommend just doing so large decorative rocks to breakup the space?
Hi! New subscriber here, looking through your catalogue trying to find a video specifically about lighting ideas; does it already exist? Wondering about the solar vs more expensive part of things (cost, installation, durability, etc) or can you recommend someone else who has good outdoor lighting content? Thanks!

Hey Bobby! Thanks for sharing this invaluable information with is. I live on 5 acres and became a Covid gardener. Little in my wildest dreams did I know how much landscaping costs! Anyway, we have a problem that I’m not sure how to deal with. Behind our garage that faces south, we have a cedar row/wind break. It also blocks the sun and it’s about 20 feet wide by 30. It gets so muddy in the winter and we have a back door to our garage right there. Nothing grows but my little beds. But I’m wondering is there pebbles or something we can put down that is little bare feet friendly and won’t blow away in this Kansas wind. Also we drive through this area with lawnmower, golf cart aka garden cart, and a gator thing. It sees a lot of traffic. It doesn’t get much of the south sun due to the cedars. Any suggestions would be appreciated! 🙏🏼🌻🌺😃
A concrete pad or paver walkway with your feet can go on, as well as the lawnmower would be good and then surrounding with decompose granite. Kind of a Zen vibe. You could plant ferns in that area and then dropping some boulders. That would be very nice if you need help visualizing what the space can be, you can go to my website and I’m happy to create a design for you. www.bobbykdesigns.com

What program do you use? I love your designs. Can I send you a pic of my front yard and get your recommendation?
I loved this! Do you have easy and budget friendly ideas for the backyard?
I only design Backyard in 3D but I’m working on a few videos for that. Stay tuned!❤️
That's a cool program. What is it called?

Hameln grasses, blue fescue grass (sun areas) ferns, hostas (shade areas)
