You have to make foundations chain that is multiple of 4+3
My purse is wide 25cm and long 36.
For you macrame cord I suggest to use hook n.2 .

I have the same question, I love the purse and I want to finish it properly . it looks like the lining is wrapped around the plastic canvas but I am not getting the same result?

You have to sewing the fabric on top the canvas, is not easy explain by writing, but if you go and check the "Dolce e Gabbana" bag video you see how I lined the bags.

Of course you can use any yarns I suggested to use tick cotton.
I use macrame cord and for this project you need a least 2 skein,
But depending what you gonna used because some skein have more meter some have less.

NANA HOBBY CROCHET sorry I understand that is an elastic ring but I didn't mean that. I meant the sew on magnetic closures, the ones inside which are on the lining. Are they just sewn to the lining only or all the way through to the plastic canvas. Thanks for your reply again x

Yes ..you have to continue with the same pattern.
At the end the row make 3 ch turn and continue doing the same stiches back and forth for the length of you pannel.

Please note you say on the video the measurements are 28x9 but your measuring tape says 28x19. Which is correct ?
Also you say to cast on a number of stitches which is a multiple of 4 and then add 3. But later you say this purse you cast on 34 stitches plus 3. 34 is not divisible by 4. Please advise how many stitches to cast on for this purse. Thank you

Hello I wonder if you could help me, I have crocheted end the bag but I used different yarn, 100% polyester and is thicker than your yarn. I need to buy the plastic canvas but I think I need to squares bigger as my yarn won't fit through. Could you please suggest a bigger squares on the canvas but will be the same stiffness that you used. Thank you I hope that makes sense. X
Also after looking are the plastic canvas only in length only 13.5cm because my finished bag is about 14.5 inches.

NANA HOBBY CROCHET I'm sorry I didn't explain I need a canvas with bigger squares what would you suggest. I am from uk too. I'll look on Amazon but I don't know the count for the bigger squares or what the stiffness is.
I used the canvas that have half cm square and my is long 34.3cm×57.4

Maybe next time you might readjust our camera bc your work is too high and it’s hard to see your work. It’s a nice stitch I can’t ear what you sd your stitch is called. I know it’s a wedding purse and it’s silver it’s just hard to see your work with the background being the same color. 😊
