  • Come plant the okra bed with me. We are using the square foot gardening method to space our plants.

You've got more than enough time to plant your carrots. I just put some in yesterday, and another run of potatoes. I think i'm zone 7a or b, can't remember, they changed it😂. But anyway, I do succession gardening every year. If I've got a bed emptied out, I fill it with carrots, beets, potatoes, or if it gets into August, I'll put lettuces or spinach in, and can usually get something out of there for a bit of a fall crop. I've then got the greenhouse, so I can throw a few cool season things in there that will overwinter and then I'll have some kale or chard in the early spring. So keep throwing caution to the wind! It will work🙂 Your garden looks great, too! I'm hearing really good things about MI Gardner seeds, I think I'm going to need to order some seeds from him next year.

@@Fivearrowshomestead24 Carrots a must, Time left for Cherry Tomatoes as well. Snow Peas could be planted beginning of August so they fruit as it gets cooler which'll make them sweeter.

@@Fivearrowshomestead24 Oh, you will love it! Mine isn't very big, but enough for 3 raised beds, and I grow all of my peppers, and sweet potatoes in there during the summer, because up here, with the cooler nights, it's harder to grow those, so it's been wonderful, especially that I can make salsas and I love love love sweet potatoes! I think it's just all about experimenting LOL!

@@Crosbhealach my snow peas died off. It’s too hot. I might try replanting when the weather cools down again.
