I crocheted a couple hair elastics for my 8 year old granddaughter. Tmrw I gotta tuck all my tails on them and the hats I made them for their bds. Oh and I made one of those round scrub pads out of tulle. I add a loop to mine to hang it up over the faucet to dry. I hate stinky sink stuff. Check into life line or a similar button. You can wear it around your neck. Then if you fall, then you push the button. U are not in touch with them at all except u supposed to push the button just to test. They come on and ask if you need help and you just say no, I was Just testing. I love mine. Which reminds me, I'm over due for testing. I'll do that when I'm done here. ❤❤❤

What I have found with WalMart pick up and delivery substitutiod/not available-- the closer you are to the first of the month, weekend or a holiday, the more likely you are going to have substitutions or out of inventory. I make my orders for Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday -- less hassles. Have a blessed day!
A Life Alert button that you wear around your neck would be helpful and it does require any other watch or phone to work. Then you don’t have to worry about notifications or feeling you are connected to technology. My mom would fall and spend hours crawling to the phone. She had a life alert and refused to wear it 🤪
It's cool and rainy here in Central Alberta, Canada, will be a wet Canada Day tomorrow! 🇨🇦 I'm working on making mug rugs (21) for a cousin reunion 8n August, and also a blanket that seems to be taking forever to complete- lol. I can understand your shoulder/arm pain, as I have a small tear in mine, but even with physio, it's still sore, but I just can't stop crocheting, although I'm sure a break would help it to heal. But I'm 70, and this is my 3rd year of crocheting, and I'm afraid my time will run out before I get all the projects made that I want to make 😂

It has taken me a long time to change habits. What it is is that I still think I am 35, even though I just turned 77. It’s hard when you age overnight! Do you have a rolling cart to place the grocery bags on and roll to the kitchen? I finished my first amigurumi and hopefully the only one. But the look on my granddaughter’s face was worth it all.

I keep Clorox wipes in my bathroom so I can do a quick wipe down of the counter in the toilet every morning after my shower. Of course, I wiped down all handles, and switches. I am the only one who lives in my apartment, but I do occasionally havegrandsons who come in, so I like to keep my bathroom fresh and clean. I find that the Clorox wipes are a real help.
Last week we had no water for 4 days and living with store water is so difficult. No showers and everything in the home dirty. We are in winter now. I watched a very good old movie from 2017 called Wind River. You need something that can call someone when you fall. My dad fell more and more and the last one left him with brain swelling and tube feeding. We got him back to eating but he lost all language. Early prevention is good. Stay safe.

Ridiculous how many substitutions they tried to give you. Tells me that they were not doing their job properly. At church today it was 105 but here at home was mid 80's. Our church is in the valley of Los Angeles County so it is always much hotter there. It was still near 100 when we went back for evening service! We are under an extreme heat advisory this week. We will attend Wednesday evening service which will be our patriotic service and possibly watch the fireworks on Thursday from the parking lot of our apartment complex. They shoot them right across the freeway from us. Have a great evening. Love from Southern California.
Hi Kayla. I think a smart watch might be a good idea. You can turn off your notifications, that's what I do for my phone. I don't like to be disrupted or "on call" in my life either. There's 3 options, silence the notifications, turn them off entirely, or put yourself on "Do Not Disturb". If you fall, it could be a life saver for you. Just thoughts.. but do what you feel is best for you. Much love xo
