fair point, but there is undeniably a huge part of wow that is very much an enormous grind-fest, like if you're leveling fishing or some of the other gathering professions.
CameronSquirrel fishing has the sleeping murlocs, and professions aren't as grindy anymore due to the fact you can learn current patch recipes from 0, and you only have to make the recipes like you would anyway to get the upgrades or buy them from merchant..

Lewis was just bitching about game mechanics without actually learning how the game mechanics work in the first place. It's like blaming the hammer because you can't hit the nail.
Lewis is right: A lot of colony management games lack character. Cliff Empire is one of them: it has a lot of the function down but completely lacks any semblance of character and life. You're literally just putting buildings in squares.
At the very start where Lewis claimed the original Raft was "shit" (which it might be, I don't know), I know that he will dislike Raft even if it was improved beyond his wildest dreams. If Yogscast go into a game with a negative opinion (be it via a bad screenshot, a random sour mood, or whatever), they tend to trash whatever they find in it, even if it's objectively OK or even good. Everyone does this to some extent, but Lewis does this at an extreme level. It's funny sometimes, but sometimes frustrating because he's giving himself a bad time.
Seems like he's going into every Steamy Saturday with a bad mood, lately. I can't watch a whole VOD, I get tired of it -.- There's plenty of other games to try... maybe we can watch them play something they enjoy? ;p Geeeez
