Lee Rice, Thank you. The Bible does indeed teach this, as you say. Perhaps the new Earth will be part of the heavenlies.... not fallen, but actively restored to its intended status. Life will be as God had originally planned it.

it was so amazing to be with 2.5 million fellow pilgrims from every nation on earth who were so in love with Jesus --we were singing to the Lord and laughing and dancing whenever the opportunity presented itself my soul felt heavenly joy. Everything was so joyous and filled with love I almost felt like we had entered Eden before the Fall or given a foretaste of heaven!!!! There are no words to accurately describe this joy!!!!

I so hope you can experience WYD someday! I will pray for you that you can make it to one. The peace and joy is so amazing I can't accurately describe it to someone. The group I went with did a two day stop in Prague after we left Krakow and we had mass at the Infant of Prague and our Bishop and the priests travelling with us spent a lot of time preparing us to re-enter the world because after two weeks of being in this amazing place spiritually, they were concerned for us going back home. 2.5 million people and not a single fight occurred its like our souls knew we were all brothers and sisters in Christ and we FINALLY got to be together, world waiting for us outside of Krakow was bitter, nasty and mean just waiting to take our happiness away and they wanted us to take what we experienced and share it and be the spark! God Bless

But we (I mean also you and me) can do something: for example we can ask the parish choirs for better songs... or we can teach good songs, in different languages, to the children (at the parish school/catechism I teach some latin or hebrew chant to them). Moreover... well, one of the best solution is looking for very ancient chants: sometimes they are amazing. Or you can learn from modern composers who re-make ancient chants. Have you ever heard the italian musician/composer Frisina? You can look for "il canto del mare" from the italian soundtrack of The Prince of Egypt. It's great, we sing that in italian churches (especially at Easter). Search on youtube for "canto del mare Frisina". I don't know if there is an English version. Blessings to you! Keep on requesting good music in our churches. European tradition in sacred music is only... little known but it is really great (maybe the greatest).
