Absolutely great walk through did this cruise in September 2023 and booked again for October 2025 and we watch this often to remember how great the cruise is.
Just booked the Deluxe Owner's Suite for my wife and I for mid to late October 2025. The ship looks good for being older. Was the ship fully staffed? Was your sailing at full capacity? and how was your overall experience? This will be our first trip to Hawaii but like the idea of the cruise to see all the Islands.
Great questions. 1. I will say no only bc one of the restaurants was closed the entire trip 2. If it wasn’t at fully capacity, it wasn’t bc of covid or anything else. There’s no limitations. 3. Pretty good! It’s definitely an older ship and it shows. But the entertainment, food , experience etc were very good! Plus , I kept an open mind only bc I usually travel on newer ships. This was my first cruise outside of Royal Caribbean. But I was there for the Hawaii island. So it was definitely worth it. A great way to see all the islands at once. We had a regular balcony room. It was nice and spacious. So I can only imagine how your deluxe suite will be. You and your wife are going to have a blast. ENJOY!
Thank you for answering all my questions. We also like to sail newer ships. Actually we were thinking originally of going with Celebrity and there edge class ship but just too many sea days and you don't get much time in the couple islands they go too. The researching we have done knowing POA is a older ship we decided to upgrade to a suite level even though there is no sea days. It's a matter of preference I guess as I could see people going with a inside or standard balcony as the Islands are the main focus for the money vs staying in a suite. If we were younger we would of probably went that route but when we go in 2025 we both will be a couple yrs away from 60 yrs old. Lol. It seems as you age space and comfort etc especially on such a long trip was a priority for us. Lol. Knowing it's a older ship but a 30 million dollar renovation in i believe 2022 helped us agree that this is the best way to see Hawaii. We also liked that NCL has the 11 day option package with your first 3 days on land to explore then the seven day cruise in a relaxing way.
Great edit! Thanks! Going in two weeks and now I feel much more comfortable navigating all the different decks on the ship. Any recommendations on excursions??
TY! I am glad you enjoyed it. We didn’t book any excursions. We actually did our own thing. Helicopter tour, rented a car in Maui, visited a few beaches etc. Let me know what you booked!
Great tour, thank you! Loved the Seinfeld clips.
I think I like your tour of the ship better than the other ones I have seen.

Also, you got the ship to yourself?
No. I filmed during a day where everyone went to shore.
