There are so many courses online at Sacrmento's website.. is it Operation of Wastewater Treatment Plants, Vol 1 (A, B & C) AND Operation of Wastewater Treatment Plants, Vol 2, 8th Edition, 2022 (A & B) that are needed to take the exam for Class C? Are the online courses done at your own pace, or is it a set schedule?
They are all correspondence (distance learning) courses. For the wastewater C license you need to complete Operation of wastewater treatment plants Volume 1 and 2. You pay for the courses and take quizzes online. 10 tests for the first book and I believe 10 for the second. Once you complete all those online tests they will mail your wastewater certificates which you will send FDEP in order to register for your state exam
Just reread your comment and yes you are correct. Volume I parts A, B, and C. Then Volume II parts A and B. Do them in order. Volume 1 take and pass all your quizzes for A,B and C then once your have your certificates in the mail do the same for Volume 2.
You can take all the coursework and the exam without ever actually working at a plant. But in order to be issued a license you need 2080 hours (1 year) of hands on time usually obtained from working at a wastewater plant. 9 times out of 10 if you’ve at least taken and passed your coursework and exam you can get hired on at most plants in a trainee position in order to get your hours for your license.
Very inexpensive I wanna say the 2 courses with books were less than $500. Most employers will refund this cost once you pass your test and get your license
Thank you for the video and your comment replies! Very helpful when trying to figure out where to start 👍
Thank you for this!
Thank you sir!

And yes they are self paced. I believe you have up to 6 months to complete each Volume. You can finish much faster than that of course
