A comprehensive video I have all of my patients watch before their pre-op. You can use the chapter timestamps to move around. Be sure to subscribe to the channel.
Hey Dr. Rosen! I'm having my total knee replacement surgery tomorrow (6/27), and have found your videos to be the clearest, most honest representation of what to expect. Your calming manner really has helped with my anxiousness over the recovery process. I just wanted to thank you for your content, and really appreciate what you have done. I have my recumbent peddler, and my Peloton, as set to go for recovery! ;) Dave
Thank you Dr. Rosen for all your extremely informative videos, I only wished I had seen these before my knee replacement surgery. I can't believe I've learned more from you here than from my surgeon, his PA and nurses. I'm at the age where more of my friends than not are needing to get their knees and hips replaced. I'm going to help them with their journey and one of the first things I'm going to suggest is that they watch all your videos.
I love your video I have learned a lot going to let my doctor know because I didn't get that help from them going back into for the third time thanks you for your information
Dr Rosen thank you so very much for this comprehensive information. It is so detailed and the very best on TH-cam and has been most helpful. I live in Sydney Australia.
Thank you for the video , job well done !!! You are a thoughtful Specialist , keep up with the good work. Blood Clots a big thing with me , that's one of my worries. I know patients are suppose to walk often . I was told to always have family member with the patient.
I am 84, in good health for me age and facing double knee replacement in 3 months. But I am not sure it's something I need to do. My main problem is knock knees which have gotten worse as I get older and arthritis in the knees which causes mostly stiffness accompanied with pain when I stand up. The knock knees causes balance issues and a tendency to sit too much and not be physically active. I am told that a knee replacement is not necessary unless you have extreme knee pain, which makes sense. My question is, would extensive physical therapy to strengthen the muscles which help with balance and stiffness, etc. make more sense. I intend to watch your other videos. I found this one to be very thorough and straight forward.
