When I went from the LTG,a 50% camo beast to this thing I was really upset but after a while I realised the true purpose of this LT,which is ramming. You can basically bully almost any type of light tank (even 90,lynx,hwk,lhm etc). One HE and a well timed ram and they're in the garage. Unfortunately WG have started adding annoying LTs like the Char mle who can yolo and clip you out,so you have to play a bit safer.
The armor I don't think I can call underrated, and certainly not something to be relied on, but its like a shadow HP boost. Of course, sometimes it will still do nothing, but 500-1k blocked in a light tank can be godlike, and it happens at a decent rate.
Had the LTTB for a small amount of time before the LT rework, as a tier 7, it was great even though it had 3 degrees of gun depression, and at tier 8 is still good. It feels like it gets outclassed by the LT-432 but I’m ftp and I play very casually
I like how the game crossout does their killed to garage phase... you have to stay in battle after you die to get maximum experience and resources... if you exit to garage after you die battle continues you get less stuff so it forces you to be patient
@@jc-d6179 well in a way ya... bc it forces ppl to be more patient bc their tank's life means more, cant just cycle thru tanks and suiscout. May e even watch the rest of the battle thru your teammates eyes a d see what works where etc.
Talking about drifting - has wg nerfed it, 'cos I'm suddenly noticing time & again in different tanks, drifting seems to have almost stopped working - lights.

Simply because the soviet union is a union (it's a bad thing in general, but calling things "Russian" just understates other countries' involvement in world history). i super enjoyed the LTG. but i just cant get that LTTB to work. am using the moduls that are on the index, but game afther game is a loss. i cant finde anny place in my boddy where i like this fake bob tank. but am going to grinde it out whitout using free xp.
Lttb seems good on paper, but it is not competitive in t.8. Elc and lt432 , hwk30 and senlac are better in everything, good gun for a light tank doesn't make it good, especially if the alpha dmg is bad.
I regularly make 2k spotting dmg in LTG, why would LTTB be any harder? just put bond optics, muffler in the slot, vents, food, and decent crew (brother in arms, and both of the view range perks) - with this setup i almost always top in my team by spotting dmg even when playing bottom tier with tier 8 LTs

Calling the LTTB a hidden gem is perhaps a bit too much, but it's certainly a lot better than many people think. And I like it way more than its tier 9 big brother, the T-54 lwt!
First couple of games I hated this tank because the cammo is so bad compared to most other lights, but then I started playing it more like a medium/light hybrid and have been having a great time with it. You can do a lot of damage while getting some decent spotting as well.
LTTB is pretty capable. It was massively buffed from 3% to 5% of gun depression. Maybe Skill remembers if from those times. Also it used to flip way easier when WG were experimenting with more "physics". But yeah 432 is straight up better in every way power creep over the LTTB. For me this is the first top of the tree line, where I have all of the top 3 tanks and decent crews for them from before, so should be able to focus on the big mission. I hate the LT top of the tree spotting missions though. Should be combined damage. Often you can spot the entire enemy team and your team fail to hit anything.

I have the same opinion. LTTB is a big disappointment for me after LTG. I still need to figure out how to play.
I always use LTTB to ram, especially to ram Bourra (and shoot HE), which works quite well.
From tier 6 to 10, russian lights, the only one i didnt enjoy much is T-54light...to ordinary

It's hard to do 150k spotting in this tank , i would be more happy if WG gave us an option of doing damage instead

LTG with its camo is amazing, the LTTB is quite frankly a trash light. The tier 8 b.c. is better in every way.
