    I am a part of Gen Z and agree that Gen Z is too sensitive. Just know some of us are capable of intelligent, reasonable reactivity rather than constantly seeking a reason to express blind rage with cancel culture and things of that nature

    As an older member of gen Z it’s important to remember that the majority of gen z are still children, many of which are currently in their teens, the oldest members being only in their early twenties. This generation is still in the process of learning and growing and establishing what their values and opinions are as every generation has done previously during these important developmental years. Of course they seem sensitive. Who wasn’t at these ages?
    However, just because they are young doesn’t mean that they are dumb, and that doesn’t mean that they aren’t making a good point. It’s admirable how they have even as children pushed for social change. Older generations should be proud that they have helped raise a generation that is not afraid to speak their mind and not afraid to hold others accountable and question authority.
    Young people have always been known for changing the status quo and pushing for social change. I’m sure back in their youth, even boomers were seen as “too sensitive” by older generations.

      The problem is as a gen X who had to live by my own in very difficult social and work conditions (low salaries, no jobs, expensive appartements, lot of bullying) hearing those heavy privileged young people complaining about being oppressed is overwhelming. Even more when they want to " awake or educate you" after never been through anything. They are the kings and queens of labelling people to silence them.

    Gen Z is absolutely too sensitive, and I say this as a younger millennial. Rather than work through a problem, they’ll just break down because they’re taught to give in too easily. They need to learn to take responsibility for their lives and gain resilience in the face of adversity , I.e toughen up.

    One of the things about Gen z is not that they are entirely sensitive it's just that are not about to put up with a toxic environment. Not gonna put up with the BS. And I agree like older generation had a habit of not listening to their kids and thinking the parent is always right when they arent. They know how to express themselves where as our generation probably just drinks, does drugs or have other issues they ignore. There's that group and the group of cancel culture which that is what I don't agree with.

  • @alexmiller574
    @alexmiller574 ปีที่แล้ว +8

    Mabey irs the fact Gen Z kids are handed so much to them so when problems hit they don't know what to do. Compared to in the past people hade to figure things out learn to make things be more creative and understand things take time. Gen Z has no reality in life so the don't know how to face it. Gen Z everyone competes in a game that no one wins using every little mistake either it being somthing good about you or bad making you just like the rest of the group. Too many kids either get there way or isn't shown how to provide. Now not all Gen Z people are bad you can find good kids out there. The ways we can fix and help problems of our future on the Gen Z is changes in the following (Teachers, Parents, society, Media, development. But not many teacher want to teach and help make kids smarter its more about grades, test, more test, and things that are not needed in life. Parents need to step in and teach there kids right from not right, good or bad, and help there kids with problems. Get them out side. Teach them response ability. Society takes a big part too on what you have to be to be someone, like looks and actions. Its nor about understanding Gen Z its about Gen Z understand not elders but reality. That's what I got to say and you can say diffrent.

There's a difference between being sensitive over a joke or someone's opinion on transgenderism, and expressing concern over Lgbtqia35~×97 topics being discussed in childrens' schools. So yes, indoctrination is real and absolutely deserves the attention it's been getting. But unless you're a parent, you won't fully understand these issues. A child's development is the most important period of their life, so poisoning their minds with ideology is not okay in the slightest.
