I built a neck through rhoads out of wenge with huge top bevels like that. Definitely more comfortable. I'd like to see a different bridge, but other than that... Looks great.

I want to get this guitar as it seems like the most comfortable V you could get, it has great specs, but... I'm not sure about the Buzz Feiten system. I read it requires a specific tuning method, and that the saddles at the bridge are set at the factory according to some special offset, for the specific string gauge. So what happens if I want to switch tunings and string gauges often? Can I intonate and tune the guitar normally or do I need to replace the nut first?

Not with active pickups, no. But you can always buy EMG's or others aftermarket and have a professional put them on for you. Don't count on Guitar Center though. I actually put mine on my Gibson Les Paul by myself, it wasn't too difficult.
