If they decided to hate someone or something they'll actively look for everything about that person or thing that confirms and fuels their hatred, ignoring all the good stuff. Jared Leto sure isn't a saint or in any way flawless. There are questionable things about him, but there are just as many if not more amazing things about him, but haters don't want to see those. His flaws as well as all the good and amazing things make him who he is, he doesn't hold back. What you see is what you get and many people can't deal with that attitude.
