- This is one of my favorite season's of Messi. He was wild to say the least. He did so many dribbles, open play goals and assists, its astounding this season isn't even his 2nd best season on stats. Within this season he broke the all time record for goals in La Liga. He also went on to win the champions league, being top scorer along with Ronaldo & Neymar (12 goals each). Whilst also scoring one of the best goals ever v Atletic Bilbao in the copa del rey final. Messi had an remarkable 58 goals & 27 assists in 57 appearances.

Messi was disappointed after his loss in the World Cup 2014, and from there on, a fire sparked in him, filled with rage. A year later, his rage turned itself into a talent that nobody can comprehend. The best way to take revenge against the world 🐐🇦🇷
This season alone can make him consider as greatest of all time 🐐.
for me 2015 was his greatest.... he was a class above everyone .. impossible to stop

This is one of my favorite season's of Messi, he had a remarkable record of 58 goals & 27 assists in 57 appearances. He won the treble that year (La Liga. Champions league & Copa Del Rey). He scored one of the best goals i've ever seen and it was in the Copa Del Rey final as well. He also broke the all time goal scoring record for La Liga & now holds it at a gargantuan 474 goals. Along with that, he was more evasive then ever against defenders and made some crazy passes as well. The Goat! 🐐⚽

If you understand even a little football you would know how extraordinary this player is. I have no words to describe him. We all are lucky to watch him live believe me. We'll definitely never see a player like him in this century atleast. And im not exaggerating.

The crazy thing is he never truly peaked, in 2011/12 he was overweight and undisciplined, in 2012/13 was going on a insane run until he got a injury which not only stopped his run and potential best season, it nerfed him and ruined any chance of Messi reaching his true peak level as he did not have the same pace and solo ability after the injury.

It is also one of My favorite seasons of Messi's. I never forget The goal vs Bayern, killing Boateng and scoring a fantastic goal. 58 goals and 27 assists are unbelievable numbers, but even the statistics couldn't explain his class and out of the world level.
That boateng goal defies physics, you’re right, you need to watch Messi to understand that stats can’t define him, he is the dumbledore of football.
An overlooked part of Messi’s game is patience. Passing, goal scoring assists, most stem from his sense of when to strike.
This was the year.. he surpassed ronaldinho for me.. the consistency and the fire that he had after that loss in the final of the world cup.. just pushed him .. and the incredible way that he destroyed Neuer and Bayern.. this was his greatest year for me.. He was pissed off and he wanted to show the world how good he really was...

This in my opinion, was the season where he fully embraced his incredible talent of controlling the midfield. Every season since, he has been more of a play-maker, but obviously, goal-scoring is in his gene, so also scores ton of goals along the way.
In terms of goals, assist, trophies, free kicks, this was most complete version 🐐

When people compare Ronaldo to the GOAT 🐐 that is Messi it blows my mind bc yes, Ronaldo is a great goal scorer but imo lacks the ability to completely control a game. Most of the time its a great midfielder like Zidane who played one of the best WC matches ive ever seen beating Brazil single handedly....Brazil people!!!! But Messi has that too + so much more. I doubt if anyone will ever be able to walk through people without having to do flair tricks like Messi. If they do, I hope I am there to witness it.

Yep, Zidane is a great but the 98 Team was extraordinary too, completely destroying a pathetic Brazilian side, that was incredibly lucky to past the semifinal against a far far superior Holland team. The right final should have been France vs Holland, which would have been epic.

Personally i regard this season his absolute form. He totally overshadowed prime neymar and suarez. His whole game play was refined to a tee. From the dribbles to the assists to the goals he was peaked. You can see it in his physicality. His face especially. 2012 was scoring aspect, this year was the end of debate. Right after that world cup final heartache. If theres anything we have learned from this man is that when he suffers... he comes back even better. 2018/19 messi will tell you that.
It's amazing how Messi scores goals, looks so simple, looks so easy. He put the ball "politely" into the back of the net. When it comes to scoring goals, Messi is the most "humble" player ever in football. Take Batistuta and Cristiano Ronaldo for example with their powerful headers and shots. Then look at Paolo Rossi and Inzaghi with their killing instincts in front of the penalty box. Most attackers use their ultimate power to kick or head the ball into the net. Messi is much different, he tends to smoothly put the ball past the goalkeeper. That's why football pundits always say that Messi makes the most difficult thing in football, scoring goals, look so easy. But if needed, occasionally Messi can score goals with a very hard long range shot. Messi is indeed a very rare player. In terms of setting the rhythm of the game, perhaps only Maradona, Pele and Cruyff are somewhat on par with Messi.
Messi have the most goals from long distance in football History. His finishing is more precise than any you mentionned. His ratio too. Btw, Messi Can put rocket shot. Messi is simply the best at the best level. Period
