I’ve been saying it for years. Behemoth is the most underappreciated hyper on the continent. I think the only reason people don’t talk about it much is due to it being in Canada.
What's the difference between that and Leviathan? Cause aren't they the same drop height and turns and stuff or what are the differences if you can explain?
@@shanegiannini6166 Leviathan is actually quite a bit taller than behemoth, I think by like 20 meters. And, Leviathan is more focused on speed rather than airtime hills.
oh man first visit heck ya man, hope you enjoyed the park. I have been going to this park every year since 1987 no BS. my fav coaster is Dragon Fyre its my first and last ride every time I go.
I was there on June 10th. It was my first time going as well. Loved every minute of it. Did not have the guts to ride Leviathan, Yukon Striker or Behemoth but hoping to build up the courage to do those ones the next time I go there. The big drops after the lift hills unfortunately terrify me. I'm hoping to get over that fear next time I go to ride the big roller coasters. Really hoping to go back there soon. Had a blast while I was there.
that’s awesome! don’t worry i ride coasters for a living and it took me 5+ years to build up the confidence to ride big coasters. once i did, i was hooked!
TRY TIMBERWOLF FALLS AND WHITE WATER CANYONNNN. to some people, they seem boring but they are nice and refreshing on a hot summer day. and after timber wolf falls, if you are still feeling warm, go to the lookout point and watch other people go down the slide. THIS SPLASH GET YOU MORE WET THAN THE ACTUAL RIDE. it's great. and white water canyon is so relaxing with a touch of excitement during parts
17:30 Yeah the complaints about Time Warp are a little bit overblown. It’s a weird ride position and might be uncomfortable but if you ride defensively it’s really not that bad.
nope. but i was very surprised because i was told by other people they were denied without a kid. it was pretty dead the day i went so maybe they just didn’t care. not really sure to be honest
@@coastingalong yeah, sometimes we get very lucky, my wife is literally 60" so at CGA she arched her back a little bit and I said I was riding with someone under 60", so we got to ride in the same row haha
My biggest issue with Tundra Twister is that the ride experience is really unreliable. Depending on how it's loaded, it can have some fun flips or just give you nothing at all. My best rides on it have been when the park isn't very busy so it ends up a little lopsided in terms of weight.
Canadas Wonderland is absolutely beautiful!

My favorite coaster

I think the ending of Yukon is pretty cool when you’re beneath it
i agree with everything you said about yukon striker. it’s a top tier dive coaster but that ending drops it in my rankings
yea i think it’s my 3rd favorite dive. if it was just the first half it would be my favorite

The helix is a nod to Skyrider the coaster it replaced.
@@warrenkujansuu608 good to know!
Btw: sledgehammer is the only ride of its kind in the entire world! I’m glad you enjoyed our park!!
yup it’s very unique. definitely enjoyed my time and can’t wait to come back next year!
@@coastingalong I have family in Pennsylvania and Downey park is their nearest park. I can’t wait to visit it someday!!
I really like this style of vlog, it’s like I’m walking around the park. Hoping to get up there this year, leviathans the last giga I need to try

Nice. It looks like the park was rather dead that day. It was a little cloudy/rainy I remember that. That definitely kept a lot of the crowds away.
7:09 that helix is such a sexy visual from the midway tho, but yes, what a weak finish lol
i agree. you can definitely get some cool views
it looked it wanted to rain at the start of your video thos looked thunderstorm clouds. was here on sept 2nd.
I Tap out after Behemoth its so intense
Did they not make you borrow a kid for either of the kids coasters? I've heard some people say they got turned away from both
