    I had the exact aio from msi on my 5800x. Its very bad for it. The 5800x gets extremly hot cuz it can boost over 5GHZ with PBO2. You need either High RPM Fans on it or just get a 420mm aio. And even then cuz the cpu can get so hot it can overheat the near VRM of the motherboard. One of the best AIOs for those class CPU's from amd are the artic liquid freezer 2. It has a offset mount for exactly those CPUs. And it has a dedicaded VRM Fan on the Pump. I Highly recommend one of those. Hit me up if you wanna know more and see how i Set it up and keep my 5800x on 76°C on 5.2 GHz on stresstests.

    • @ChrisCabralFX

      Friend I have the same processor, currently I have it with an air sink (Provisional). To update it, do you recommend the mandatory ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II with 3 fans or can it be the 2-fan version?

    • @askquestionsMA
      @askquestionsMA ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ChrisCabralFX probably you know how hot it can get. I used at first the 320mm (3 Fan version) and put 3 Addition Fans on the other side lf the Radiator. This helped alot but the 420mm Version was still a huge jump up and ever since it runs Butter smooth. I really dont know about the 240mm Version and how good it will Perform on the 5800x. Maybe there some Benchmarks online where you can see the results of it. But in General if you look up it is always highly recommended to use at least a 320mm Radiator for it.
