The police chief and the mayor in suburban Lyons have shared more information about a sophisticated, high-end theft ring that spanned multiple states and amounted to millions of dollars.

I used to work logistics in the office side and as an account manager yes, we know EVERYTHING that’s in those containers, where they’re going , etc. it wouldn’t have been hard to follow the train and look for the container number. We had a container worth a million+ with nothing but patron bottles go missing and the FBI came in.

The police got great haul. Most of those items have been written off to insurance companies, who in turn will split the profit with said police agency, after all items are sold at a police auction.

Glad to see the streets are much safer now in Lyons. Can LPD please come over to Chicago and teach CPD how to solve the countless homicide and crimes cases taking place by the minute? Maybe they can start by honing on where all the head mask are being purchased that are the cause of most of the crimes. Could the solution be getting the head masks off the streets since not much is being done to apprehend the individuals underneath the head masks?
