    "Back EMF" ang tawag doon sir opposite direction ng supply. Inductive reactance .... Yan ang nagsisilbing resistance kaya bumababa ang current habang bumibilis ang spin ng motor. Isipin mo na pag mabagal ang spin pa ng motor mataas ang current kasi mahina pa ang back emf it means mababa pa ang resistance ng motor kaya magdo-draw ng mataas na amperage. Natural phenomenon ng electromagnet ang back emf

    Hi JDL, just want to share my humble knowledge. IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) is a semiconductor device. As we all know na ang basic function ng IGBT. on the said ckt is to amplify the AC signal up to a required pick level in order to drive the load. I think the compressor can only run on AC alone. May similarity lang yung ckt sa Power inverter. Correct me if i'm wrong. I wish makatulong ang simple explanation ko. FYI & tnx. More power to your YT chanel.

    Naalala ko master nung HS life d sq nksama ng field trip sa science. Pinagproject aq.dq alam anong ggwin kong proj.my nkta aqng dynamo sa school dn n hndi na gngmt tpox triny kong paandarin gmt ang battery.then my nakita aqng bulb na maliit. Hbng pinapaandar ko ung dynamo kinabit ko ung bulb gmit ung mga hibla lng ng strand wire. Dun aq nagulat na kya magpailaw ng dynamo ng bulb. Kya nilgyan ko ng twist. himbis na battery ang magpapaandar ng bulb eh ung dynamo na.
    Gnwa kong prang style power plant na ang source of electrical energy ay ung dynamo. At un ang nagbbgay source sa mga bulb sa paligid na gnwa ko.

    Kasi nga, may mga engineer at technician din naman kasi na para lang talaga sa aircon ang nalalaman at maaaring wala silang gaanong knowledge o theory sa electronic kaya yun ang pinipilit nila. Kaya tama ka Master, sadyang napakalalim ng mga dapat pang malaman sa larangan ng electronic. Thank you Master.

    "Back emf" ang tawag doon. Inductive reactance. Kaya mataas ang current sa unang andar ng motor kasi mababa pa ang back emf it means mababa pa ang resistance, habang bumibilis ang spin ng motor bumababa ang current kasi tumataas na ang back emf. Remember resistance is inversely proportional to current. Pag pinigil mo ang elesi ng electric fan magdo-draw ng mataas na current kasi mawawala ang back emf kaya iinit ang winding eventually puputok ang thermal fuse. Isang katunayan pa ay ang POTENTIAL RELAY. Back emf din ang nag ti-trigger sa potential relay.

    dc converter means to convert ac to dc na mas popular sa tawag na rectifier. inverter means to convert dc to variable frequency ac.
    yong nasusukat nya na dc & ac voltages sa output terminal ay yon ang resulta ng tinatawag na PWM or pulse width modulation na parang magkahalong ac & dc or pulsating dc. kasi kung pure dc isusuply mo sa compressor ay siguarado sunog yon. una, kaya nga sa symbol sa compressor ay may broken line. ibig sabihin non ay pulsating dc or PWM. pangalawa, sa terminal ng compressor ay may U-V-W or motor standard termination label na ang ibig sabihin ay 3-phase ac.
    dapat yong ginamit nyang tester ay yong may low z or lowpass filter katulad ng fluke 87V para pure ac ang makikita or masusukat nya at pwede rin nya masukat na hiwalay ang pure pulsating dc na nakahalo sa ac. tama sya sa ginawa nyang pagsukat ng ac & dc voltages. ang mali ay yong tester na ginamit nya na walang capability magsukat ng accurate sa magkahalong dc at ac voltages tulad ng pwm signals. at para maliwanag para sa lahat kung ano talaga ang voltage/current waveform na pumasok sa compressor dapat ito ay suriin gamit ang oscilloscope. doon makikita mo na talaga kung ano ang waveform na resulta ng PWM signal.
    ang pinanggalingan ng pwm signal ay ang main cpu or ang microcontroller chip na may laman na program code for pwm signal processing.
    sana mag research pa sya tungkol sa 3-phase ac circuits, PWM at variable frequency inverters. anyway, tama pa rin sya kahit papaano. hanggang doon lang nalalaman nya. saludo sa kanya.

      Walang reverse electromotive force pag na energize na ang coil field na magpa ikot sa rotor yon Yong my permanent magnet rotor. pag walang supply sa coil field na galing sa igbt. Pag ikotin mo ang rotor ang electric flux

      Mali ka dyan sa sinabi mong naka design sa DC motor pag sabihin mong DC ang supply ng compressor motor. Ganito yan sir mag draw ka ng dalawang lines sa taas positive sa baba negative ang tawag dyan DC bus. Din mag draw kanang dalawang iGBT transistor e connect mo across sa DC bus in series in 3 group so myrong 3 positive at negative IGBT. Ang pinaka center sa dalawang IGBT na connected across sa DC bus yon Yong U lines din V din W
      Ngayon ang micro controller e command ang iGBT IC driver produce a pwm signal to drive the gate first positive igbt on sin off din next negative on din off in sequence sa 3 group or phase. Para magkaroon uli ng sonusoidal wave or AC. Kaya naging AC uli Kaya ang tawag dyan inverter.

    Most likely the voltage that powers the compressor is AC. Gamitan mo ng oscilloscope you would probably see a sine or square wave frequency.

    Ang dc motor sir ay nauna sa ac motor. Remember si Thomas Edison ang proponent ng dc supply at si Nikola tesla naman sa ac ... Ang nanalo si tesla kasi mas practical I-transmit ang ac supply over long distance . Ang motor pag nag-apply ka ng Mechanical motion magpu-produce ng kuryente - generator , pag sinuplayan ng naman ng kuryente mag-a output ng mechanical motion.

    Very specific ang specs ng compressor na DC yun at may symbol pa. Hindi naman AC ang symbol dun. Kaya pag sinuplayan mo ng AC ang compressor na DC masusunog talaga. Kaya agree ako sau master JDL. Dapat may knowledge tayo sa electronics kahit basic lang para maintindihan ang paliwanag ni JDL. Thanks bro!

    Bos... ang pagkaka alam ko... kaya may ac reactance voltage sa output kase ang input voltage mo pulse wave...pag nakalagay sa dc voltmeter mo naman may makukuha ka na dc voltage na low...kase po mababa ang dc resistance ng coil...pag nasa dc voltage..kapag naman ac supply sa inductive coil.. mataas ang inductive reactance....

After all, doesn't it take an alternating current to "induce" a current and its corresponding magnetic field in the motor's rotor? Well, AC causes induction naturally because it is continuously changing direction. DC, on the other hand, does not because it is normally motionless once a circuit is activated. But, DC can induce a current if it is switched on and off. For those of you old enough to remember, automobile ignition systems (prior to the advent of the solid state ignition) used to have a set of points in the distributor. The purpose of the points was to "pulse" power from the battery into the coil (a transformer). This induced a charge in the coil which then increased the voltage to a level that would allow the spark plugs to fire. The wide DC pulses seen in the previous illustration are actually made up of hundreds of individual pulses and, it is this on and off motion of the inverter output that allows induction via DC to occur.

    Kaya po wala masukat na DC voltage sa supply ng compressor ay AC(120V) po ang supply ng Comprresor dahil ito ay my frequency. AC sya na square wave, ang normal na supply natin is AC na sine wave. DC ung pinapasok sa main supply nakaparallel sa capacitor (around 300VDC) tapos chinochop ng IGBT ang DC supply na ito para maging Square Wave AC( AC sya kasi my frequency sya, ang DC ay wlang frequency). Ngaun paano mo mababgo ang speed ng compressor pag nareach na nya ang desired temperature) babguhin nya ngaun ung frequency ng input voltage nya. Dahil alam nmn natin na ang speed ng motor ay proportional sa frequency N=120F/P (N= motor speed, F=frequency, P= nnumber of poles.) kaya doon natin nababgo ang spped ng compressor (doon nag kaiba ang inverter sa noramal type lang na AC). Kung gusto mo makita ung tunay na itsura ng output voltage na sinusukat mo ay gumamit ka ng Oscilloscope at doon mo makikita ang square wave AC na supply.

      Depende sir. Baka high amp na kaya nag overheat or pwede dahil mataas Ang karga. Kung sa inverter kadalasan may lalabas na error yan dahil sa sensor

    Sir meron ako tsini tsek na compressor, 3phase ac sya, pag nag trigger ang contactor, trip agad ang circuit breaker nya, nung I test ko ang resistance nya sobrang taas nya, possible ba na yun ang cause ng pag trip ng cb sir?

      Anong resistance ang nakuha mo sir?pwede mo din alisin ang load side at hayaan tumakbo ng walang load pag nagclosed ang MC at di ngtrip ang CB so nasa compressor nga ang sira,meron din kase chances na nag single phase ang supply kaya nagtrip ang CB..sana po nakatulong🙂🙂🙂

      @@walterodiver5251 na try ko nga sir na i disconnect ang load at hindi nagtrip ang cb, then pinag compare ko ang resistance nya sa katabing compressor, at napakalayo ng difference, kundi ako ngkamali it was more than hundred ohms, or kilo ohms na, at iba iba ang value ng bawat terminals. Whereas yung katabi nya ay .8 or .9ohms lng,

      Tama DC naka sulat kasi Hinde naman siya pursing tawaging AC. Dahil ang pinagkuna ng idea ay ang DC using commutation ay brush they call it shunt DC motor. while sa BLDC motor ginamitan ng igbt commutation. They call it synchronize DC motor. Kuha mo? Mag basa ka muna sir para maintendihan mo.at ma Paliwanag mo paano ginawala ang igbt at ano and function Hinde siya regulator as per Sabi ni JLD. Is a high speed switch.
